My husband and I arrived in Duma Tao for our first safari at the end of March 2015. We were astounded by the level of organisation that is required for such an adventure, and impressed at the high level of service provided at all times. The effort to work so sustainably was appreciated too. Duma Tao is a fantastic camp,... More

Flew in from Kwando Lagoon, via Lebala where we picked-up a couple, who were then going on to ….….......... - I forget now. Superb flying conditions, clear, calm, and minimal heat haze - a real delight. Met at airstrip for the transfer to the Lodge and were advised that it would take 35/40 minutes or so depending on what we... More

My wife and I were lucky to travel with our son and daughter-in-law. This was our third camp and they were all different and all the best, pointing up the importance of a knowledgeable travel adviser, so thanks to Cardo at geographicgroup in San Antonio. That said, the manager and camp staff and especially your guide set the stage and... More

We have just returned from a two-night stay at DumaTau and can't say enough wonderful things about it. The tents have incredible views and close proximity to the Hippo Highway (*between our tent and the next) gave us a real experience of being in the wild. The staff was incredible, especially tracker Flame and the rest of the team. We... More

Thank you CathyG730 for taking the time to share your special memories with us. We thoroughly delighted in reading this, we are able to see the camp through the eyes of our guests and you painted a beautiful picture for us. The “Hippo Highways” run throughout the camp, it is slightly awkward when you are first faced with the wooden... More

Located at the bank of Linyanti lagoon, each tent of the camp faces the water, where you can see the hippos just a few feet in front of your tent. The food is fabulous. The vegetables are fresh. The desert is nice. I like the bread roll very much. I saw four hyenas and many wild dogs in one afternoon.... More

Dear Shuxun C, Thank you for your wonderful review, we are delighted to see that our ever enthusiastic staff took great care of you. The Linyante concession is a great area to see Wild Dogs. The African wild dog Lycaon pictus is one of the most admired, detested and mesmerising animals on the African continent. Living and hunting in packs,... More

Duma Tau was the third and final camp we visited on our Botswana safari. The accommodations are luxurious and the view is breathtaking -- each room looks out onto a flowing river. Similarly, the staff was excellent in making sure we had a truly special experience. On Christmas Eve, the staff performed traditional Christmas songs and dances before dinner. On... More

Dear Chocolate74, Thank you for your detailed review, we have discussed the complaints with management and will monitor this situation closely. We have also implemented refresher training on the importance of communication for all camp staff as this appears to be a recurring concern during the month of November 2014. We are confident that this has been rectified and the... More

DumaTau ROCKS!!! My daughter and I stayed 2 nights here at the beginning of a 3 camp safari trip -- that included DumaTau, Selinda and Little Mombo -- 1st week November 2014. This was my 9th safari and my daughter's 8th, meaning we are experienced at what one should realistically expect from the camps and game viewing etc. And DumaTau... More

Dear OTBPGourmet, Thank you for your beautiful review, we are so glad to hear that Mocks was able to track down the "somewhat" illusive Wild Dog. Wild dog sightings have been less numerous recently compared to the denning season but we do still spot them regularly and following them on the hunt is one of the most thrilling experiences one...
