Cesare welcomes his guests in a reconverted farm amidst his citrus gardens, with views up to the sea and the Etna. We enjoyed the easy-going tranquility of the place, having breakfast (with plenty of fresh orange juice) in the lovely light breakfast room, relaxing in the garden and strolling through the orchard in the morning or evening. Cesare is discrete... More

The Casa di Pippinitto is a real gem! Our stay with Cesare on his farm property on the east coast of Sicily was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds (I like firm beds). The furnishings are basic, but more than adequate. And the newly renovated bathrooms in our... More

sitting in the garden at Casa di Pippinitto is a treat. Host Cesare is very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean though the neighboring dog kept us up. Highly recommend it to those who want an alternative to the more formal hotels. Easy to get to Etna and up the coast.

The Casa di Pippinitto in Santa Venerina is a MUST for everyone with plans of visiting Catania (do so!), Taormina, even up to Messina and also Syracusa going south. Following the big road to Enna I guess also Piazza Armerina (with those mosaics; the most beautiful we saw!) is peanuts. There is nothing more/new I can tell about La Casa... More

My two cousins and ourselves (60-ish years young...) just got back from the most lovely time at Casa P. The place is highy individual with very nice basic en-suite rooms plus one self contained suite with two bedrooms and kitchen facilities. Set in the middle of orchards and gardens on the lower slopes of Mount Etna in the pretty little... More

Just come back from the most wonderful stay at La Casa di Pippinitto. I had guessed from my earliest emails with Cesare, the property's owner, that we would be well looked after - he was always so prompt and helpful in his responses. And our stay certainly lived up to, indeed exceeded, these expectations. The property itself is beautiful and... More

There are places you will always remember and want to go back to. This is one of them. We stayed at this wonderful place for 4 nights with the family and enjoyed it so much. It's so quiet and relaxing, lost among lemon trees. The owner loves the house and the property and he loves to share his passion for... More

This was our favourite accommodation in Sicily. Cesare is a fantastic host and the accommodation and location are beautiful. The breakfasts are legendary - lots of fruit and produce from the farm itself. The wine Cesare and his friends make also went down really well in the evening. We had a studio room with a beautiful bathroom and a kitchen... More

The first day we couln't find the B&B so we called and Cesare came immediately to pick us up with his motorcycle. He is the most kind and sweet man! He is so patient and helpful. The place is very nice and our room was big! There was a little kitchen near our room where we could cook. You can... More

My husband and I stayed in La casa di Pippinitto in June 2012 for two nights. We had a minor problem with the directions because a road was closed but Cesare came to find us immediately when we phoned and we followed him on his scooter. He could not have been more welcoming and produced orange juice squeezed from his... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set between the sea and Etna, Pippinitto’s House Bed and breakfast is a spacious structure, built at the beginning of the XIX century. We offer accommodation with breakfast on our farm which extends for 8 hectares. The farm mainly produces citrus fruits, but we also grow many different types of fruit and vegetables for the family and guests. We are proud of the fact that our farm is organic, (and uses only the natural goodness of the fertile volcanic soil. We believe that the flavour and nutrious content of our produce is greatly improved by the lack of chemicals.) ... more   less
