Comfort & Cleanliness The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are clean. Someone drops in every morning to change the towels and fix up the room. The only downfall we had here, we the few bugs that are around. You may have to remind yourself that you are staying at an agriturismo, in Sicily, in the middle of summer; so a... More

We booked this agritourismo based on the trip advisor reviews, we are so glad we did. we absolutely loved its location, out in the middle of the most spectacular scenery and views we have seen on our trip. The road is not the best, but just go slow and look for the signs, it is well marked. What a pleasure,... More

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful 2-night stay at Masseria Susafa. I was lucky to stumble upon a Telegraph review of the hotel by accident, as all the other agriturismo resorts we had wanted to stay at were fully booked - but I'm so glad we came here instead. The careful restoration of the farmhouse meant that it... More

This is a lovely hotel & quite different to stay in a large converted farm complex than city/town/beach locations. The food was great - one of the best meals of our trip with great wine, lovely ragu similar to those served in rural tuscany. There are a few downsides however. It can be difficult to get to depending what direction... More

I don't always start with mentioning the wines and food, but this was just fabulous. The DOCG wines from Vittoria and the great food in the restaurant of this remote but luxurious location (compared to our regular agriturismo B&B's in Sicily) is worth mentioning. Not as personal as other locations we visited, Susafa is more focused on providing a 'hotel-like'... More

It's a great hotel, very quite, in the middle of the beautiful mountains of bella Sicilia. Actually, if you are coming through the highway just use "Tremonzelli" exit and then follow "Vellalunga" sign and almost 30 mins you find the hotel. The road is amazing. The food and wine is perfect in the hotel. There is a fantastic vineyard and... More

Place is a bit hard to find, but when you arrive, you are simply stunned. Everything is first class and same time scenery is very calming. Food in restaurant is pretty much the same as in all restaurant throughout Sicily, but it is done very well. I will be back!

This place was really superb, and very different to everywhere else we stayed in Sicily. It really is very much out there in the middle of nowhere, which is something we wanted for the last night of our honeymoon. The views are great, and it was a very peaceful stay. The restaurant and bar areas are great too - we... More

Relax at the pool while overlooking the Sicilian country side, is the top 1 activity next to mountain biking and have excellent diners. We were pleasantly welcomed and felt right at home, this working farm hosts 13 rooms (they have a few options so you might want to check). The atmosphere breaths tranquility and you instantly are away from you... More

This small hotel is located in the countryside, well away from it all. It is nestled in the hills and is surrounded by farms. The nearest major attractions are well over an hour away. We stayed in a suite which we found to be clean and spacious but lacking basic facilities. No bottled water was provided in the room, even... More
