Stayed here a few nights, very convenient and well equipped. The rooms were apartments, with ample kitchen and separate bedroom, great shower. Good wifi, Ok TV, close to shops and restaurants. David, the apparent owner, spoke perfect English and treated us like valued guests. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient base to explore Provence.

This hotel was an excellent value. The room we had was very big and clean, the staff was very friendly and there was no cost to park the car. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the price was great. The only thing we had a little bit of a hard time with was the location. The GPS didn't... More

We stayed already a couple of nights last year in this hotel, and came back for a full week this year. The district in which it's located, is rather unusual. It's a commercial district, with Lidl and Intermarché (two large supermarkets) in walkable distance. Once you passed the hotel parking entrance, it seems that you're transplanted into a whole different... More

The hotel is located in a flat area and is surrounded by car repair places, warehouses and a discount supermarket (Lidl). Turns out la Provence is not all lavender fields, perched villages and Roman ruins! The building is modern with outside corridors and resembles a Motel 6 off an Interstate in the middle of nowhere in particular. The grounds are... More

After a 10 hour drive we were delighted to finally arrive at the hotel. In was slightly difficult to find but local directions got us there. The rooms are very spacious and open out to a very pleasant central courtyard. We only stayed 1 night and felt the facilities were wasted on us but it would be a fantastic location... More

We, a family of 2 adults with 2 children enjoyed our (short) stay at this hotel. We booked it actually only because another, already existing hotel couldn't be extended to a longer stay, so we used this hotel as "prequel" to our actual other hotel stay. The room was very nice, quite large, and considering we booked only 3 days... More

We are a family of four, two children (13 and 8)-we spent two nights at this hotel. We stayed on a self catering basis. Is has appartments surrounding a central courtyard-which are spaceous and extremely well maintained and decorated. A double bedroom and a lounge/dining/kitchen area with a very comfortable double bed sofa. Each appartment has its own patio with... More

We loved everything about our stay in this hotel. Spotlessly clean and very large rooms with kitchen corner, bedroom and livingroom were more than fully equiped and very nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly and English speaking. Breakfasts are also good. I especially liked white opaque courtyard with huge lavender flowers and swimming pool area. As the hotel is located... More

Very welcoming staff, nicely decorated appartments, big rooms and terraces, clean and quiet, with free Wi-fi and a nice (although inlatable) pool. Good location - easy to find and perfectly located for exploration of nearby cities in Provence and Camargue (Arles is just minutes away). You even get a fully equiped kitchen (except dishwasher) and a supermarket at doorstep to... More

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hotel Residence de la Transhumance. We were checked in efficiently by a delightful and very helpful young lady who spoke quite good English. The proprietor was later on duty and he also proved to be very friendly and helpful, speaking good English as well. We had a large and spacious unit, with... More
