I have now stayed at this Riad 3 times while in Morocco but this time i stayed a whole week with my husband and two friends. The Rooms are lovely, the staff are excellent, the food is very good and the pool is wonderful. We wanted a relaxing week in the sunshine and this Riad certainly fits the bill. A... More

When I was first arriving in Taroudant I was excited by the look of the city and was wondering where my accommodation was. Our guide Nour from Around Morocco tours just kept driving and driving and before we knew it we were a fair way from the action in Taroudant. Then we came to the gate of Riad El Aissi... More

Just outside Taroudant, in a country estate, one finds the riad El Aissi. The riad is set amongst dense orange groves along with an extensive banana plantation. One would not like to try finding the place without a guide-driver. We liked it in spite of its almost comical deficiencies: no real receptionist visible, a shower with practically no water (although... More

The Riad El Aissi falls somewhere between a farm stay and summer camp and comes as something of a surprise. It is on the outskirts of a village a few kilometres outside of Taroudant and is a working citrus and banana farm. The buildings date from the 1930s, sprawl around charming internal gardens (citrus trees, flowers and turtles), and are... More

We have travelled to many countries and just spent 2 weeks in Morocco. We have never had the terrible experience we had in this place. To begin with it is not sign posted, out of town, and difficult to find. We were greeted in the car park and brought through a dark area (reception??) to the first room on the... More

We stayed here enroute with a Desert Majesty tour. A mix up with rooms to start with (two family's 4 and 2) and 2 rooms of 3. The rooms we ended up with we're damp and musty. No soap provided for the bathrooms (asked 3 times before we finally got some). Nice setting with pool gardens and orchards, but the... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Desert Majesty tour. The rooms were beautiful, the food excellent and the staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. After a couple of nights in the desert, it was a perfect place to relax in the lovely gardens, watching the birds. Highly recommended.

We stayed here while on a tour and knew it was out of town, and we had transport anyway, so its location was fine for us. The setting is lovely, though unfortunately we had horrible weather during our stay and couldn't see the mountains or use the swimming pool. We couldn't believe our luck when we saw our room as... This place is a little out of the main town - something we didn't know when making the booking. But if you have your own car or like walking, it is fine! Spending a night here was great. I can only imagine how wonderful the pool would be in the summer! The beds are comfy, and there is plenty of... More
