A marvellous garden, heavy with the scent of orange blossom, greeted us at this lovely hotel. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, the food is fantastic and the staff are great. Would highly recommend this beautiful, secluded hotel. Many thanks to all who make this such a delightful place to stay.

It's hard to know where to start with this establishment, we arrived for a two day stay after the relative disappointment of a commercialised Agadir and ended up staying a week! Every detail of this hotel is the perfect mix of Moroccan charm combined with European chic. The beautifully laid out gardens and pool area are perfectly maintained and the... More

I have just spent a week at this hotel with three friends who stayed there last year. What can I say! It was a perfect week and great fun. The owner, Marc is charming as are all the staff. I liked the fact that he had clearly used local craftspeople to decorate and furnish the rooms. The atmosphere was relaxed... More

We have just returned from our first visit to this hotel and our second to Taroudant. All I can say about this hotel is that I want to pack it up and take it with me everywhere I travel in the future. It was a gem of a place, charming, comfortable, gardens beautifully maintained and the food was excellent. What... More

We have just returned from our second visit to Dar Zitoune and hope to go there again as it is such a perfect place to escape the English winter. What makes it superior to other hotels is the quality of its staff. Either Marc, the owner, or Monaime, the manager, are constantly in discreet attendance making everything run smoothly and... More

Riad dar Zitoune consists of a main building with reception area and restaurant and large garden with individual bungalows, most with their own private terraces. There is also a large pool and smaller Jacuzzi pool, a pool house, Hammam and fitness room and recently a "Berber village" consisting of half a dozen or so tents round a freshwater pool has... More

We needed a few days away and chose to return to Dar Zitoune hoping it would be as good as we remember. In fact it was better! As other reviewers have said, the setting is tranquil, with rooms spread out amongst the orange trees. The food is great and so too is the Moroccan wine. A 10 minute walk from... More

A beautiful garden with swimming pool, citrus fruit trees and many others is a haven after a long journey. Individual suites accessed through the garden, very comfortable with hot showers and free wifi. The food is typically Moroccan with a European twist. Just about 4km from town but quiet and accessible.

I spent a night at Dar Zitoune last November before flying back home from Agadir. The garden was marvelous the pool beautiful. The atmosphere was peaceful. My girlfriend and I shared a suite which was very comfortable and very nicely decorated. Like most rooms we had a private little terrace where we drank our mint tea. I met the owner... More

Totally enjoyed our stay here, our room was comfortable, snacks and meals of quality and the service friendly and attentive. The gardens make it a delightful and peaceful environment, it's a little way out of the town and totally worth it.
