Staying at Riad Maryam is an incredible experience, guest house is a traditional Riad which has been beautifully restored. The courtyard is gorgeous and is a wonderful place to sit and chill out. The family are very kind and attentive, the food is delicious and well presented and the place is kept very clean. I'll definitely come back here again!

We found this hotel through lonely planet guide. We re 3 women and a 5year old girl. We got positively impressed since the first step in the riad. THE Owner is super friendly and extremely helpful. THE ROOMS are huge and clean.everywhere you can feel its charm, and the positive energy of the owner s 200year old family history. The... More

We were not staying here but our hotel recommended Riad Maryam for dinner and it was amazing - the best Moroccan cooking we have had in all our five trips to various parts of Morocco. The setting is a lovely riad and the owner was very welcoming. We brought our own wine with us but the owner will supply it... More

I stayed at this riad in January 2015. The family were wonderful. It was low season, and I was the only guest; theycharged me only 400 dirhams a night, including a sumptuous breakfast, different every morning. Even the posted price, 600 dirhams for a single, would have been a good deal. They were warm and attentive. Highly recommended.

What a great and very colourful place to stay: superfriendly host, good and quiet room (we stayed in a groundfloor room out of season, first floor room in season better) hot shower, excellent breakfast and central location in the Medina. Unfoutunately our host's wife, who has her own cooking programm on tv, was away so we did not enjoy the... More

Unlike many other riads, this one is owned and managed by Morrocan people, which makes the whole difference : The style of the rooms is a bit farther away from the one displayed in the magazines, but you feel as part of the family as long as you stay there. The food is abundant and good, the location in the... More

W stayed overnight recently in this gem of a riad. Initially a little difficult to find, we were given a warm welcome by our host Omar. The real highlight about staying in this place though is dinner. Be sure not to eat all day before if you want to do justice to this feast. The cooking is superb and the... More

Excellent location in the Medina. The Riad is runned by a very friendly local family and they really made us feel like home. Great, spacious, Moroccan style rooms. The food we've had here was the best during our stay in Morocco!

We arrived at the hotel after a long journey in the heat of late July, and were warmly greeted by the owner with the customary pot of mint tea - always a delicious start, so refreshing. Our rooms were fabulous. My husband and I had the most enormous double bed set behind drapes. There was also a single bed in... More
