We stayed here for six nights thinking Taroudant would be a good base for trekking in High Atlas (it wasn't - try going to Tafroute instead). When we arrived we were struck by the beautiful hotel and the wonderful decor. It is very stylish and has a lovely courtyard. However, the staff do not speak English so unless you can... More

first of all sorry for your disappointment for theft but as recognize you didn't use the safe in your room. can you be sure that the disappearing money was lost in our hotel, before complaining or accusing the staff of other clients . The manager Merym and the public relation women Zhora spoke english of course not as well as yours... More

A truly gorgeous gem of a hotel - a beautiful courtyard full of flowers and birdsong, stunning traditional architecture and design, welcoming and helpful staff, good local food, all in the heart of this historic and lively town.

Palais Oumensour - Taroudant An impulse booking, the best kind, a quick browse through the Rough Guide on a lazy eve in Essouria, Mr M suggested a taxi to Taroudant. Palace Oumensour was very reasonably priced and looked beautiful. It didn't disappoint, a slightly peturbed taxi driver was led into the heart of the medina by a boy on a... More

This is a small hotel with a very lovely courtyard. In February the courtyard didn't get very much sun but we spent the day exploring the town instead. The rooms were comfortable, if dark. It was a very ni9ce place to spend an evening.

We were really very pleasantly surprised by this place - it is great value for money given the wonderful rooms and quality service. Lovely private setting with beautiful courtyard, great pool and quaint traditional hammam, very comfortable lounge areas with fireplaces and enthusiastic service from an efficient team of very friendly women. Tucked away in a quiet street but close... More

We spent three nights here and although it was cold, there was a roaring fire every evening in the salon. The in house food, including breakfast and dinner were excellent. Beer and wine is also available (not easy to find inTaroudant). The staff (mostly women) were very friendly.

Spent the night with my wife. Room has a great feel, comfortable (including the bed). Bathroom/bath nothing special, shower a bit puny (and not overly inviting). Property itself is very nice, including sitting room, dining area, library-type room, outdoor area around the pool, and hot tub. Nice staff, French speaking, but no communication issues (although we don't speak French). Location... More

Hiding behind a bland door in a backstreet of Taloudant is the Palais Oumensour. It can be difficult to find if you are driving (luckily a friendly local guided us through narrow streets and one way systems) but it is worth it. Inside you have a lovely courtyard setting with swimming pool and a roof top terrace. Numerous comfortable sitting... More

Typical for Moroccan medinas, almost impossible to find this little gem without local help. Fortunately, the locals are super-friendly and in no time were we in front of the entrance. Once through the gate, it was more than we expected. What a beautiful oasis! Rooms are clean and quiet, with all the amenities. The included breakfast is excellent and staff... More

Stayed here for three nights last week and it was absolutely superb. Our suite was wonderful and the public spaces both inside and out are excellent with very comfortable sunbeds and chairs. We ate here in the evening and the food was some of the best we had during our fortnight in Morocco, especially the options they offered for vegetarians.
