Just back from the GGBR. We enjoyed our stay in Grenada, and would recommend this hotel to couples, families, people on business and to friends. It is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, especially considering its location. This is not a super elegant luxury hotel, but it is on a very beautiful beach and has fabulous pools with lush gardens. People... More

I have just returned from a week at the GGBR. I was visiting family who were staying nearby. The location is prime with direct access to the beautiful and unspoilt Grand Anse beach. The gardens are expansive and well maintained and the pool areas are excellent with one of the largest pools I have come across in the Caribbean. I... More

Stayed at GGBR for four days at the end of January (and elsewhere on the island the last 4 days). The hotel is in a great location--they have the largest beach frontage on beautiful Grand Anse Beach. The room itself was mediocre but kept clean. Mine was on the second floor level on the west side and was quiet and... More

I am travelling a lot - staying in a lot of different hotels. Can't believe at this price you are getting such poor service. The receptionist was extremely rude at check-in. Her supervisor phoned and apologised. When I went back to the desk to settle the booking, she agressively denied that she was rude - without me referring to the... More

Grenada is lovely and not overcrowded with tourists like many other islands - We stayed in St Maarten after this visit and it was much more crowded - a totally different style of island. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport, which was great and taxis were cheap too. The hotel has a fantastic beach which you... More

My wife and I spent a few days at the resort with some friends and it was a very enjoyable experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is very well maintained and has a beautiful pool with waterfalls and swim up bar. Located on a superb beach (Grand Anse). Would recommend unreservedly. Colin H. Trinidad. More

Stayed on east end, beachfront, ground level. Room somewhat outdated but functional. Love beachfront rooms to be able to hear the surf. Occasional beach peddler would stop when sitting on the patio. Only one instance of noisy neighboring room. Beach is fantastic with some trees for shade. Craft and Spice Market just down the beach with reasonable prices. Umbrellas restaurant... More

Stayed at this nice hotel for a week in early January. Excellent location as in the middle of a beautiful beach so had nice long walks early morning which I think is the best time to walk on the beach as all the locals are out to swim and walk and you meet very friendly people. Had asked for a... More

We spent 2 weeks at the resort at the end of Jan 2012.... My first visit to the Caribbean...everyone in our party (4 of us) thought it was a fantastic hotel.....it does, what we say in the Uk as "exactly what it says on the tin". By that, I mean it is advertised as a 3 star hotel not a... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful week here en route back from business in California. It was a long trip to get there but certainly worth it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the rooms large and clean and the resort just beautiful. With two pools, the larger one with two waterfalls and jacuzzi and direct access... More
