This is a small hidden gem in Koh Samui. (blink and you will miss it!!). The place was amazing and the price was really cheap....... we took a room that opened onto the beach directly.... these were priced higher..... but worth the cost!!!! They also have a small swimming pool for kids!!!!! I would give it a four star experience... More

The Hammock was ideal for my two night stay on Koh Samui. Right on a quiet part of Mae Nam beach with views across to Koh Phangan. Staff were helpful and my room was clean and comfortable. Close to local bars and restaurants too.

Consdering i rate a hotel based on whether you can walk barefoot in the bathroom, the hotel was absolutely great! But jokes aside, clean, homely, quaint and good rooms. Only food I had here was breakfast and the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. though maenam itself is not the best for solo travel. It should be viewed more... More

Small but comfortable rooms with mini fridge and safe. The beach location is dead centre, lots of shops and restaurants near by. A night market every Thursday. Finally rocking good connectivity for watching Netflix late at night. Would definitely stay again. Also staff are really nice.

We have just spent 5 nights at the Hammock in Maenam. This resort has crammed about 30 bungalows and rooms onto a very small block of land on the beach. The rooms are tiny with no hanging spaces or room to unpack anything. They are all painted concrete inside. Our room was in need of repainting . The matress is... More

If you are a camping fan or think of spending the night in a hammock then the Samui Hammock Hotel will be the right place for you. The bungalow type rooms are so small that there is almost no space for opening or storing normal size suitcases and average little more than 12 square meters (hardly more than 100 sq.... More

My wife and I just spent 10 nights here, we had a fantastic time. We stayed in a standard room (much bigger than previous posts suggested). I think it was s2, it had a big balcony which was not overlooked. The breakfast in the hotel is great, too good in fact, I'd a few 3 course breakfasts 😁 The staff... More

Really nice experience here, the bangalow is really clean and comfortable, it is straight on the beach and you always have long chairs available, i would recommend this place. The beach is surprisingly quiet and widi works everywhere.

We stayed here mid-january 2015. To simplify things for those in a rush, I would highly recommend staying at the Hammock if you are comfortable in a room with limited storage for your clothes and toiletries and are fairly adventurous. We originally just booked for one night, with previewing more places the following day in mind. We walked to about... More
