One of the cheaper resorts on the lovely, peaceful Maenam beach Hutcha is perfect if you want to stay somewhere quiet and relaxing. It has a lot to recommend it, especially if you are on a budget. The bungalows offer a lot of privacy; they are set back from the beach down a network of paths alongside a small stream... More

Hutcha is a nice little resort that could use a little bit of work. We stayed here one night before shipping off to Ko Tao the next morning and chose Hutcha based on the price and location near Lomprayah pier. It's down a little alley that's off a small road off what seems to be the main road in Mae... More

We've booked 4 nights at the hutcha resort and ended up staying just 3 because we didn't feel comfortable there. When we checked out one day earlier the receptionist didn't even comment on that or asked for a reason. As we were neither welcomed nor greeted by the receptionists being busy with their smartphones that didn't really come as a... More

We booked this hotel through booking.com and we were pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect as it's just on the beach. The food is outstanding, especially the Hutcha noodles which we only discovered on the last couple of days. The staff on reception need some training in helpfulness but the other staff are extremely attentive and friendly, especially the bar... More

Stayed in one of the fan rooms. Really sweet resort with lovely pool, reasonably priced frozen cocktails to sip while sunbathing! The breakfast was a bit of a let down, purely because it was all cold! The variety was good, but just needed to be heated up. The lunch and dinner options were good value, and yummy food! The room... The staff were incredibly rude to us, and very much put us off at the hotel. Worst customer service We had a party to go to and we needed a taxi to get there, we negotiated with the hotel receptionist 500B (one way - expensive as it is considering it was 20 mins away). We told her we needed this... More

Stayed here for 3 weeks in Feb 2014 with friends and family and loved it! Great resort next to the beach with excellent food at the restaurant. The staff were amazing and friendly and the manager was very helpful. Can't wait to go back!

I had to book here, since no other affordable resort had free bungalows during my two days on Koh Samui. My room was a Superior Room, what means, i got one of the smaller bungalows on my own. The bungalow itself was very small and a bit "rocked down", but clean at least. The breakfast was ok, but not exceptional.... More

This place is not located on the main section of Chaweng but in a quieter beach. Thesot is a 2min walk to the main street that has massages and food. The hotel restaurant is reasonably well priced if you want to stay in. The standard room cost us $30per night (aud), the room is small but has air con and... More

We stayed here for two weeks. First of all, they tried to fool us and give us a small room when we already booked and payed for one of the big bungalows. The big bungalow was wonderfull. Big, charming with a big terrace. The breakfast was also quite satisfying. But the beach was dirty and small and you can not... More
