We booked last minute and then read the reviews so we were prepared to be disappointed. Actually the poor reviews meant we were pleasantly surprised with the place and enjoyed our holiday. We were 2 adults (mum and grandma) and 2 children (age 3 and 6). We booked an early check in and arrived just before 12pm so waited a... More

This place was a holiday from hell, the place was run down and understaffed. The place was dirty , I would hate to have seen the kitchens. It seems like the owner had taken plenty from it and never put anything back into it. Look at the pictures, that's what you have to look forward to.

We were very disappointed, the reviews were bad but we thought it would be ok. There isn't much to do for family at all. The farm was not enjoyable for the kids, it was just a bit of land with a few animals. The soft play area wasn't worth it with as well. We booked for 3 nights but came... More

Solway Holiday Village was an enjoyable holiday. There was plenty to keep the kids occupied with the Farm, swimming pool and the kids party in the main complex in the evening. I was surprised at the site shop, selling price marked goods when most places like this tend to try and rip you off with steep prices. The caravans have... More

This park needs to join the modern world of holiday parks...Free wifi for 2 hours upstairs at night from 7 till 9 o'clock..Then the entertainment staff turn it off....This park should provide free wifi at all times....Holidaymakers at this run down place give honest reviews and to improve the owners should listen... After all the comments on here you would... More

21-22 August - 2 nights. Nice welcome. Great food at the restaurant. Toilets clean. Tennis for kids if they wish. Trip to the farm included. Kids loved the indoor pool. Nice pub with pool tables. Won at bingo in the club - bonus! You can pay for mini-golf. Beach close by. Nice walk along the seaside to the town. The... More

This is a great place for families to stay. The Lodges are large and well equipped, and there is plenty to keep children amused including tennis courts, all weather football pitch, and swimming pool. For the little ones there's a good outside and indoor play areas too. It is across the road from a rocky beach, but we enjoyed playing... More

The site as a whole is dated and run down. We booked for three nights and came home after two. We camped on the very wet touring site, which would have been less traumatic if there had been more road/pathways around the site. Luckily we had a choice of pitch as we had to rule several out due to the... More

We arrived on Monday 10th August for a weeks stay in our tent. We arrived a few hours earlier than the scheduled time and we were allowed to pitch immediately. We were escorted the field and were allowed to choose where we wanted to camp. The toilet and shower block were cleaned regularly, the new showers were lovely. The grounds... More
