on arrival found the site to be dated, run down and in need of work. On passing one caravan the soil pipe had broken away leaving all human faeces and used toilet paper on the floor and clearly visible. Every time we visited the Nags head bar the tv was quickly switched over to the football and the volume turned... More

This is a very old and unloved caravan park. Needs a lot of TLC to bring it up to date. The chalets look like something from the 60's and in need of a revamp, the caravans are quite old and need a lot of care. The camping field is ok but the shower/toilet block is in desperate need of bulldozing.... More

Well what can I say?? Our first holiday in the uk and deffo the last!! When we pulled up I nearly dropped. The place looked like something from the 70's. Went to reception got our keys and went to the chalet. We walked into a horrible smell, the whole chalet stank!! It was filthy. Carpet covered in bits, the window... More

We were looking forward to our first family holiday with our baby and decided not to go abroad and spend our time avoiding the sun for his benefit. This place promises a lot and delivers nothing. When arriving in silloth my first reaction was that it looked a little run down and dreary but when we hit the front street... More

Last minute camping trip with partner, 7 year old son and dog. Pitch was great. Large and spacious. Near toilet block which I would say is in need of updating (but there is a sign saying a new block is being built 2015) nags head bar-great selection of drinks and food available. Shop on site selling a variety of items.... More

A very outdated and dirty site. To be fair the entire place should be knocked down and built again from scratch. You have to pre book to go in the swimming pool which I have never had to do at any other caravan park and you only get 45 mins before you are chucked out. The pool is very small... More

After reading some old reviews was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised. Lots to do for the kids and the facilities have had an update. New ones are also planned for next season. Most of the activities for the kids are for free, like the farm, soft play, swimming pool and evening entertainment just to name a few. Some... More

Don't do it. Don't stay here. I've been reading the management responses to the disappointing reviews on here and they alone are poor! Concerns & upset are completely disregarded it appears & it's insulting that they can ask & take money for what is offered at this dive. & It just sums up the site on a whole, sub standard... More

We read all the comments that have been left on here but as I had a childhood connection to the place we decided to try it. We loved it. We went with a tourer and can not fault the place. The camp site has two fantastic wardens who constantly patrol to make the site safe and sound. It's a very... More
