At the Clos de la Barbanne in St Emilion, you could have everything you need for a relaxing escape, space, privacy, culture, cuisine and more. The Concerto is a very best wine among all the ones we have tried in St Emilion this April. Annie and Laurent are wonderful couple who makes our stay exceptionally memorable. We enjoyed having breakfast... More

It is a rarity for us to post anything regarding travel/facebook, etc.; however, we had a perfect visit at Clos de la Barbanne in St. Emilion and wanted to share. Annie and Laurent Gerber are gracious, warm, hardworking and interesting. We are in the middle of a 3 month road trip in Europe and the highlight thus far is our... More

Annie & Laurent are the most perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. The Paraschiva suite was very comfortable and blissfully quiet. The room and all areas of the B & B are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Annie’s cooking is amazing. There was always a good selection of food at breakfast, we particularly enjoyed the... If you like to drink a great wine and have a delicious dinner you out to be in this place! The rooms are fantastic! We were in the summer time and rooms were cool. Many times in France you have small bathrooms and showers, but not here! The rooms are very big and the showers are great and spacious. Everything... More

We certainly echo the praise that Annie annnd Laurent have received in the reviews below. We travel extensively and cherry pick the best places, as hoteliers we are always keen to see who we are up against. Clos de la Barbanne is personal, special and passionately run. Rearrange your schedule and make time to stay here. Attention to detail in... More

We enjoyed our stay at Clos de la Barbanne. It is special. The accommodations were wonderful and so very comfortable and the breakfasts Annie made for us were fabulous. Laurent gave us a very educational tour of their beautiful vineyard, and enjoyed their delicious St Emilion-Bordeaux wine, Concerto. Originally we had planned to stay in the area for 3 nights... Annie and Laurent could give lessons to bed and breakfast owners all over the world. For 40 years, my husband and I have been living and traveling on several continents, so we have a good idea of what to expect and hope for. The accommodations were wonderful. Our quietly elegant and comfortable room was tastefully decorated in a soft, neutral... More

We enjoyed every single second of our 2 night stay at Clos de la Barbanne in May. Annie and Laurent couldn't do enough for us, the meal we had on Friday was out of this world, we both said we hadn't eaten food of that standard for a very long time, Annie is amazing!! All the thought and effort she... More

Our GPS had sent us on a wild goose chase but it was well worth the trip and we did not even mind our lost drive through the areas beautiful vineyards. We stayed for one night and arrived directly from the Bordeaux airport. Prior to our stay, Annie was extremely helpful and responsive via email. Annie and Laurent were kind,... More

We stayed at Clos de la Barbanne for two nights and it was wonderful. Annie and Laurent were terrific. Our room was large, clean, modern and inviting. Annie fixed us a gourmet dinner the night we arrived and the breakfasts were delicious. All natural and organic foods. The property is beautiful and we would return in a heartbeat.
