Both myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights in August on recommendation from friends to tour around the vineyards of St Emilion. We quickly came to the realisation that we couldn't of hoped for a more perfect location and place to stay. Both Laurant and Annie who own and run Clos De Barbanne were the most hospitable couple... We stayed at Le Clos de la Barbanne in late July with our dear friends. From the outset Laurant and Annie were welcoming and incredibly helpful with a suggested itinerary. Laurant is a very well informed and excellent wine maker and we so enjoyed his company and tour of his property throughout which we were informed in a very wonderful... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early August and have already recommended to many of our friends. The quality of the accommodation and attention to detail were second to none and would put many top notch hotels to shame. Annie and Laurent were perfect hosts. Laurent went out of his way to help with some car problems on arrival...including checking... More

We have enjoyed the magic of Clos de la Barbanne and the hospitality of Annie and Laurent three times now. In a beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by vines and mature trees, with comfortable, spacious rooms: all the essentials for a relaxing stay are here. Everything from Annie’s gourmet cooking and ‘concierge services’ to Laurent’s passion for the production of... More

We stayed for a few days recently, and very much looked forward to the trip. Property overall is lovely. The rooms are large and relatively well equipped, with 3 standard rooms and one room which seems to be the result of one of the owners indulgence which is not in fitting with the rest of the property which most clients... Annie and Laurent made us feel truly welcome in their beautiful B&B. We had a wonderful relaxing family 'getaway' and stayed two nights in their beautifully decorated rooms. We woke to be nourished by Annie's delicious breakfasts, the children enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and Laurent took time to show us the winery and explain the process from vine to... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this lovely B&B and hope to return again one day! We both felt like we had made great new friends with the owners. Even before we arrived, Annie went out of her way to assist me in organizing my trip. We had the downstairs corner room which was spacious, clean, and very... More

We stayed at Close de Barbanne two nights, in the room upstairs on the corner. Comfortable and modern without sacrificing the historical charm and spirit. The mattress was so comfortable. Natural views in every direction. Enjoy a bottle(s) of the estate wine while watching the sun set over the green rows. The Concerto 2011 is an excellent wine. The 2010... More

Dear Kali, We thank you for sharing how much you appreciated staying at the Clos de la Barbanne. We really loved how spontaneously you joined us in our private kitchen, after dinner, expressing how much the 5 course vegetarian dinner was surprisingly raffined and so unexpectedly delicious. We took the initiative of treating you with Concerto 2009, the niche wine... More

Annie and Laurent are fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The room was very clean and decorated lavishly. The views from the B&B are breath taking.
