Recommended for evening meal by b&b owner. Venue is a golf complex around an old chateau. Beautiful grounds and stunning views. We went to the brasserie and sat out overlooking the view - really lovely in the evening. Service was friendly and professional . Pretty standard brasserie items on menu but none the worse for that. Price at the top... More

This is a first class hotel. We are a family of four with children aged 14 and 9 and we loved it. We are not golfers which, was an advantage for us as the pool and tennis courts were always free and not busy. I would not recommend for families with very young children as it is quite a formal... I have put the title in capitals for a reason! This is a beautiful Chateau with good facilities ONLY if you play Golf! We chose this hotel as an 'optional extra' following on from a river cruise around Bordeaux because it looked and sounded beautiful. Sadly, the whole place is surrounded by the golf course so there is nowhere to... More

We stopped off here for 6 days. We're on extended honeymoon in Europe and, having moved hotels every night, we wanted to stay put for a while and get in some golf practice. We stayed in a Relais room (rather than a room in the Chateau) based off comments on this site and we weren't disappointed. The Relais building itself... More

Very disappointed, read reviews but disagree, maybe if you are a golfer but have stayed in chateau's before and found this lacking. The bistro was very good , had lunch and dinner there. The breakfast was shocking , also do not under any consideration try the wine tasting. 5 euro for 2 wines which were shocking, we tipped them out... More

Quiet and pleasure hotel with 27 hole golf course. We stayed in a deluxe room - it was very good. Golf course was in good condition and not too difficulte. The restaurant was excellent and the brasserie too.

This is a good place to stay if you want to play golf in the area. If you are not a golfer then I think you will find better places to stay. The brasserie Le Chai serves mediocre food with even worse service - avoid that one. A better place to eat 5 minutes away is Le LIon D"Or in... More

We stayed off season and the hotel was really quiet - 3 rooms occupied at most?! Nevertheless the restaurant (Brasserie) was open and although we were one of only 3 table the food was superb! Room was spacious and clean and very reasonable off season rate. We were staying in the Relais which is a bit of a walk from... More

This hotel has everything one expects from a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, the main restaurant was closed (seems to be closed during low season). But the service and food in the Brasserie were equally excellent. We stayed in a deluxe room in the relais. Spacious rooms, well decorated and isolated. The breakfast buffet in the relais offers plenty of choice.... More

My wife and I stayed here about 8 years ago and we decided to return,as we were on a 4 week road-trip. Last time I missed out on golf due to an injury, so I managed to get a couple of games in. We spent our first visit in a Dependence room. These are privately owned apartments which are rented... More
