The reviews are all true: Le Clos Lascazes will be one of the highlights of your trip. A rural, peaceful sixteenth century farm house in an idillic setting in the Dordogne. Close to all the local sights but remarkably isolated and beautiful, the ambiance is perfect. If that weren't enough, Christine is a truly gracious person who leaves you feeling... More

Instead of words I should give 6 stars....first of all, the pictures and the reviews of all previous guests are more than true: the entire premises are marvelous, we felt immediately welcomed and like home. Christine and Jean-Marc are lovely and the home made breakfast in the veranda delicious. The rooms are well equipped and beautifully arranged. We enjoyed the... More

Thank you Christine & Jean-Marc for yet another wonderful stay at your home. We visited Le Clos Lascazes for the first time in August 2013 and were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the area and so we had no hesitation in returning again this year. It is truly a picture perfect location with plenty of interesting places... More

We have just returned from 3nights at Le Clos Lascazes. We booked this B&B after reading many reviews on Trip Advisor and we are so glad that we took this advice! It is a truly amazing place ---the views from our room and terrace were stunning ,the decor very chic(Christine, could I employ you as an interior designer??!!),the breakfasts copious with... More

We recently spent 4 wonderful days at Le Clos Lascazes in the Dordogne region. Without reservation, we can state that it was the highlight of our holiday in France. From the moment that we drove through the gate, we were amazed at the beauty of the location. The 17th Century farmhouse nestles softly amongst beautiful gardens and the green, rolling... More

We have just returned home after our second visit to the Dordogne region. With another couple we stayed at Le Clos Lascazes and had a wonderful holiday. This area is a great destination, beautiful scenery, lots of interesting sites and great food. Le Clos Lascazes was an excellent B & B. Centrally positioned, quiet, relaxing and some good local walks.... More

I have never stayed at a more perfect B&B. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and would justify a stay here on their own. But on top of that our host was lovely and hospitable, the breakfasts were delicious and fresh and the location was so central to all the highlights of the dordogne. I hope we will be back... More

La Clos Lascazes is an exceptionally beautiful place. Our party (two couples on holidays) arrived at 6:30 p.m. after a long drive from Paris. In the late afternoon sunlight, the place was like stunningly peaceful and tranquil amid the flowers, bushes and trees surrounded by open fields and the village of Paleyrac at a distance. Our hostess, Christine, was there... More

My husband and I travel a lot and love to stay in "Bed & Breakfasts". "Le Clos Lascaze" certainly ranks amongst the best we have ever stayed. It simply could not be better. The location is stunning and so tranquil and peaceful. The concert of the birds in the morning was incredible. The night sky is amazing and I have... More

Wonderful experience all around. The setting was beautiful. The farmhouse was perfectly restored. Our hostess Christine was really nice, patient, and helpful. She recommended restaurants for us each night and called to make reservations. The restaurants did not disappoint and rounded out the beautiful experience. Wi-fi in the room worked well. Breakfast each morning was 10 Euro per person and... More
