We only spent one night here but already we enjoyed this very stylish and welcoming place, where everyone seemed to get out of their way to accommodate our wishes and make us feel at home. We were given a beautiful room with direct access to the garden, which was ideal for our dog who had a great time wandering around...

This gorgeous boutique bolthole, formally the family farm, has been restructured by owner Anna Barberini, with her ancestors in mind, and each of the 6 beautifully appointed suites has a distinct philosophy and style. Beautiful, charming, humourous, romantic, this hip retreat is an inspirational gem full of personality, history and style and in keeping with the natural surroundings, they have taken great care to make sure they are as eco-friendly as possible using rain-water where possible, solar-power energy for water heating and locally-sourced materials for building. All suites come with air-conditioning, bathrobes, mini-bar, professional hair-dryer, flatscreen TVs with Satellite & Sky, iPods filled with music as requested to sit in the iPod docking stations and for those who want to bring their pet along, suites with gardens or terraces have kennels or cushions, bowls and even quilts. The restaurant is opened from Tuesday to Saturday for dinner.
