I had to come down to Gioia Tauro for work. Upon arrival I was surprised at how friendly and caring the family who ran the hotel were. They really made me feel at home. Room was large and roomy and right in the centre of GT. Although language at times was a issue (thats my fauly not theirs) the family... More

When booking the accommodation on the net, we were very dubious about the hotel. Upon arrival, we were astonished. It was new, immaculately clean and very spacious. It's not a hotel room, it's an apartment comprising of 2 bedrooms and a full sized lounge room. The manager was very accommodating. Even though the breakfast was basic, the barrister made up... More

Spent two nights here as were exploring the area. While the managers English was very basic, he went out of his way to understand us and provide information. The room was very large and clean and comfortable. While upper floors are still under construction, was not disrupted with any construction noise. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the... More

We were on a road trip to Sicily and wanted a clean, inexpensive hotel to spend the night. We were not disappointed. The Palace is a very nice, modern hotel, easy to find and exactly what we wanted. The staff were very helpful in getting us oriented and our stay was nice and comfortable. When we left in the morning... More

I stayed at this hotel on business Monday the 17th to Wednesday the 19th June 2013. All the rooms are very large, in fact for a very reasonable price, we were all allocated a studio apartment each. The hotel upper floors are still under construction, however, you would not notice this, unless you went up to the advertised roof terrace... More

Stayed there only one night, but it was very good, would have loved to stay more nights. Dinner was typical Italian, very nice and also breakfast with home made cake was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious. Definatly a hotel to go back to. Kind regards A Leenheer

The Palace Hotel was truly wonderful. The room was larger than our rooms at our hotels in Rome and Sorrento combined, the hotel is immaculate, and the food was excellent (with special mention of the homemade cakes/pies - made by the owners' mother). We'd go back just for the riccotta pie. The location is convenient to the autostrada so using... More
