Tsitsikamma National Park is an iconic park that all South Africans can be proud of. The setting is simply beautiful, and the nature activities available are hard to beat. We made a booking of the Honeymoon Cottage No 17 (1st year wedding anniversary) but was allocated No 16A on our arrival, despite confirming with office staff twice before arrival. This... More

I booked a hut in the rest camp for 2 people and I also booked a shuttle to bring me there. The reserve has absolutely no transportation for people coming on foot and everybody is expected to have a car inside. The prices for acommodation are correct but the conservation fees are horribly expensive for foreigners so you can expect... More

The sound of the seas pounding all night, you'll never experience anything quite like it. Basic facilities but every thing was clean and comfortable. really felt like back to nature. The walk to the restaurant id easy and we saw whales and plenty of wild life.

Storms River NP is an iconic park that all South Africans can be proud of! The setting is simply beautiful, and the nature activities available are hard to beat! Our best is to take the walk over the impressive suspension bridge, and hike up the other side of the mountain to the view point. Last week, our children spotted a... More

We booked an Oceanette room in the Storms River Mouth rest camp at Tsitsikamma National Park. Our guidebook recommended that we book early, and the SANParks booking website was easy to use and full of information on the various types of rooms and even panoramic pictures of them. We arrived and checked in, only slightly delayed by having to wait... More

Where else can you stay right on the sea in clean reasonably priced accommodation? The rooms although not luxury are basic, clean and well maintained . The linen and towels were spotless and the location cannot be better. We booked with trepidation having stayed in government parks previously and it was not a great experience but this park was above... More

We loved our overnight at Storms River Mouth Rest Camp. Having visited the area on a day trip last year, we had earmarked a stay in this beautiful setting as a ‘must do’ this time around. The location within the Tsitsikamma National Park is breathtaking with a variety of hikes and trails set up to ensure you make full use... More

As a proud South Africa. I have visited Storms River Mouth. Many many times in the last 30 years. I have camped, taken a chalet and an Oceanette and also just done day visits and have always been Delighted with the standard. NOT SO YESTERDAY when I went with my son and his family. The entrance queue took way too... More

We camped with friends! What a beautiful scenic spot. Lovely paved caravan spots. Braai at each spot. Incredible seafront stands. Huge swimming pool. Amazing hikes, especially to waterfall. Lovely restaurant. Ablution facilities are regularly cleaned. Only hiccup: electricity points are on caravan plugs so need adapters.

My partner and I spent two nights camping at Storms River Mouth Rest Camp and were completely blown away by the beauty and cleanliness of the campsite. The campsites are located literally right on the rocks with the most stunning views of the sea and shore visible forever. We fell asleep each night and awoke to the roar of the... More
