Such a great backpackers! Lovely people that work here and dont get me started about all the cute animals! The area is amazing as well. Great hiking in Tsitsikamma national park and the bungee is really close. Enough to do outside the backpackers but just as fun to stay in! Had a great start of the new year here!

In this place everything can happen, so be prepared. You can't be prepared anyway. The only things that you can expect for sure are the free pancake-breakfast, nice staff (sometimes crazy, but always friendly) a jacuzzi on the balcony and good value for money. These things create a very unique vibe and will make your stay in this backpackers unforgettable.... More

For a backpacker this has everything you could want. It's location is perfect for the bungee, for access to the national park and is around the corner from black water tubing. Everyone there is nice and chatty, there are free pancakes for breakfast, free tea and coffee and homemade bread on the bar. The only thing it lacks is a... More

We originally decided to stay 2 nights but ended up staying more as it was great. We biked through the national park and went kayaking and lilo-ing on the sea into a gorge which was great fun. Everyone at the hostel was friendly and helpful. They have quite a few animals and a crazy goat called baz!!! The hostel is... More

This backpackers is most probably one of the more unusual places you could lay your head at. The vibe is just amazing. Very peaceful place. The staff members go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. The free pancake breakfast and the beerbread is delicious. Rooms Are clean and especially the dorm is unlike a normal... More

This is one of my favorite hostels in South Africa so far. It's very rustic and relaxed so make sure that's what you're looking for; if you're not ok with animals roaming around, or if you're looking for impeccable cleanliness, then this may not be for you. But if you want a really chill place with cool staff and an... More

We only stayed 1 night in this funky hostel but we loved it. The room was simple but with a very cool decoration and cozy. The barbecued chicken with salads, potatoes and bread was amazing! They really create a very warm and nice atmosphere around the fire, where you can hang out with the staff and other people staying. Pool... More

This hostel is perfect. We are travelling across the Garden Route and it was a brilliant two nights at Dijembe. Really welcoming staff and the dinners were superb (we had roast chicken and it was lovely/also really well priced). Met some great people round the fire at night and shared a few beers and stories. Clean room and the hostel... More

We stayed for a few nights in this hostel with some friends while on our way to Cape Town and we could not have chosen a better one. The building is pretty and an idyllic wooden house. There's a campfire burning outside and a fireplace inside. The dorm rooms have sturdy wooden beds which are super comfy. There's a few... More
