We loved everything about this little hotel... It is nicely set back from the road so you hear little noise. The rooms are set in lovely tropical gardens which smell heavenly. It is right on the beach (though few rooms actually face the sea) and the small pool and restaurant are just off the sand. most rooms are little bungalows... more

This is simply the best hotel you can stay in Koh Samui. The location, staff, food, price, cleanliness and size of the rooms are just perfect. We stayed in a standard room in the building. However, I am planning to go back for a waterfront villa in the beach which was more expensive... But I am sure it is worth... more

We stayed here for a friends wedding a few miles away. Very friendly, as are most Thais, lovely grounds. We sat by the pool most days and watched the hawkers go by - they won't bother you from the pool ! Unfortunately our rooms TV backed onto next doors headboard, so no late night TV. Otherwise excellent all rounder. more

This hotel has beautiful grounds, hotel staff are extremely friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast comes with the room and is very good. They have 2 theme nights at the restaurant, which are both very entertaining. Some of the act in the Cabaret show are actually from the ones at the Cabaret Club . We met some very nice... more

The first turn off was the long walk in into the hotel. It had a backpacker's inn feel to it as we walked down the small lane. The reception was quaint and quite old. The staff were quite friendly & helpful. They showed us to our groundfloor room. Very minimal furnishing with cold cement floor. Quite spacious including the bathroom.... more

Good value hotel right on the beach of Koh Samui. I had one of the cheapest rooms and it was very spacious with a large balcony. I said above no complaints but the only small thing I can think of was when I got room service and had a very grumpy waitress deliver my food, but the rest of the... more

The hotel is located smack in the middle of the busy Chaweng Road, with lots of things to see and experience all around. But the hotel is around 20 yards inward towards the beach from the main Chaweng road - so it is very quiet. Airplanes sometimes do fly quite close by on their approach to land, but they don't... more

We just got back a couple of weeks ago from a wonderful trip in Thailand. The weather was perfect considering it's their monsoon season. My husband and I travelled with our two little ones and my mother so we were quite particular with where we stayed. We stayed at the Baan Chaweng for our first five days there. The first... more

The location of the hotel is ideal, just a small street off the main Chaweng road. The weather was great with sunshine all the time (we stayed last week of Sept 08). The resort is set in a beautiful & well maintained garden, with direct access to the beach. We stayed in the Deluxe villa, which was a nice spacious... more

Just got back today after three weeks in Thailand. Spent eight days on Koh Samui and stayed at Baan Chaweng on Chaeweng beach- having been a frequent traveller to South East Asia for 25 years I was looking forward to the same friendly atmosphere I have experienced before in Thailanad and Indonesia, but sadly I was VERY disappointed with the... more
