We stayed at the beginning of February and having been anxious propr to travelling that we would like the hotel, any worries were very quickly erased. From the cold towels wrapped around sticks of lemon grass on arrival to a member of staff travelling to the airport to help with check in on the way home, it was a wonderful... More

We stayed at the Six Senses Hideaway for a week after a few days in Bangkok. In summary, it is a good place for a relaxing break but there are a few minor problems (mostly with the service) which may be irritating at this price. The setting on a hillside is very nice and gives great views of the sea... More

We (My husband and I + our 4 year old son) stayed at the hotel for 1 week in FEB 2010. We stayed at 3 different hotels in Thailand during the vacation of 18 days Arriving at the Koh Samui airport is a story in it self. Flowers everywhere, open air lounges.. its quite an experience. And it is SO... More

Where do i start with this fantastic hotel. Set up in the hills in thick jungle this hotel is sympathetic to its Thai roots whilst maintaining a luxury feel that most hotels miss. We stayed in a Pool Villa and the room was large a spacious, with a private sunbathing deck and pool. The amenities at the hotel are second... More

This is a truely outstanding resort. Amazing location, great facilities and really spacious bedrooms. The food and drink at the resort are outstanding, and "Dining on the Rocks" is a world class restaurant. What really sets the hotel apart is the staff. They were so professional yet with a friendly and relaxed manner. The Spa and Gym were beautifully situated,... More

We stayed here for four days before moving on to The Peninsular in Bangkok and we wished that we had spent more time at the Six Senses. The hotel is really professionally run and it shows in every aspect. The staff are really helpful and friendly without coming across as too "over trained". The resort is immaculately kept and the... Have never subbed a review on here before, but was moved to after reading a couple of negative ones on this place prior to traveling. Criticism seems to revolve around mosquitos, costs of incidental items and taxis. Mosquitos-no better or worse than anywhere else I have been in Asia-take the usual precaustions after dark. The resort is a way from... More

We were fortunate enough to stay in the beautifull resort in January. Wow, this place is world class and very special, we stayed in a pool villa and were very impressed. We can not say enough good things about this resort other than the fact that every thing is on offer here, if you can not relax and have a... More

stayed over New Year. great villas, great staff. Not cheap but quiet. I would not recommended for young children or infirm people as most villas have steps (some quite steep) to access and the lighting at night is not bright. Dining at the Rocks is interesting but a little overpriced. also very dark. Dining on the Hill has good Thai... More

My boyfriend and I spent a long time wondering whether to take the plunge and book up - it was quite expensive and had been recommended personally to me by a friend who stayed there during her honeymoon. We were looking for privacy, to wake up to the sound of nothing but the ocean and to have a bit of... More
