This spot was excellent! You have your own private beach and the night life is only a short shuttle bus ride away. The staff are charming and the rooms are big. I accidentaly left my wallet there and didn't realize it until 3 days later when I was on another island. After contacting the hotel I discovered that they had... More

Spent 11 days at this hotel in January. Good middle class 4 star hotel, convinient bungallows, clean and nice atmosfere far from busy and noisy Chaveng. Some stones in the sea when you enter the water from the hotel beach especially during the ebb. breakfast is good , but a-la cart too expensive compared with city restaurants. Kayaks for rent... We had a sea facing bungallow, perfectly placed but at a price of course.... The resort is well maintained and clean but it can not hide its age. Our room was confortable, neat and clean, but like the rest of the resort it was also in a dire need of rennovations, especially the bathroom. We reported a problem with the... More

Myself and 3 others spent 13 wonderful days at the Arayaburi Resort. We arrived on 10th September 2011 to a warm welcome from the staff. It is a quiet resort which suited our party well we had the crazy nightlife in Chaweng and the peace and quiet at Arayaburi. The staff were excellent, the food presentation no fault there. Stayed... An older style resort. Individual bungalows set in tropical gardens and palms. Very quiet and relaxing. All the staff are very friendly and everyone says hello whenever they encounter you (little English spoken). The rooms are quite large and provide most facilities you would require. The beds are very firm with one firm and one soft pillow each. The bath/shower... More

Will try to be short and concrete. If you are looking for crowded place with concomitant stuff like bars, restaurants, loud music, etc. – Arayaburi is NOT for you (possibly, Chaweng beach is). If you are looking for luxurious, noble and expensive hotel – it is NOT for you, too (and, maybe, the whole Thailand is not). But, if you... More

We stayed for a week, during which enjoyment of what could have been a nice resort was spoilt by small things that could have been overcome with a little effort. On our first night, with only 7 tables taken in the restaurant, we were seated for 20 minutes with no drinks offered or order taken. This was not Thai service... More

Nice A/C and comfortable bed. No view from bungalow. Pool surrounds very slippery and water never clean. Rusty screws on pool ladder to take care of. Breakfast very nice indeed. Is included in price but other meals very costly. Nice thou. Pay for internet usage (not cheap). Need transport of your own otherwise stuck at far away place.

I travelled to Koh Samui with a group of 6 friends and stayed at the Arayaburi. The resort was nice enough (not 5 star, but close) and the staff in general were very friendly and helpful. However, the location is away from any main streets so you're stuck at the resort for dinner unless you hire a moped or arrange... More

Arayaburi is located on the northeast point of koh samui. The accomodation is adequate and the service and staff all very friendly. We spent quiet relaxing days by the pool reading and using jet ski's. Getting out and about was easy, we hired scooters and explored the island, as long as you're careful it's safe. There is a small local... More
