Stayed 4 nights in September at the Banana Fan Sea Resort. Though the resort does nothing particularly special to distinguish itself from the numerous other beach-side hotels lining the Chaweng strip, this is still a fine mid-range choice. Stayed for 14 days in july/aug 2009. Room was nice, housekeeping came twice every day. Excellent staff, very friendly and nice. Pool area and restaurant was nice. My daughter had her wedding in Ko samui at Far away villa with 21 guests, we all stayed at Banana Fan sea resort. It was fantastic, location, friendly service, great rooms, clean, food was all above our expectations. the hotel is at the end of chaweng beach so if u wnt action head one way n if u want quiet head the other way..the property is nice wid individual cottage kinda things ..howevr the ac in our rooms (we had 2 rooms) wudnt work and when we told the reception they said they didnt hev ne other rooms... more
