This is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Our junior suite was large and had a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the olive grove. Good for drying our washing from cycling 83kms in the heat. Swimming pool is set in a lovely area with loungers, easy chairs, plenty of trees and a pergola. We didn't eat in the... More

Where do I begin? The staff is first class, I was truly impressed by the level of professionalism and service I received (I would put it on par with some of the top hotels I've visited in the US), special mention of Julio - his english is good and his positive attitude and tireless approach is noteworthy. This hotel is great from many standpoints. New, with all possible facilities one might desire (swimming pool with garden around, restaurant, sea view, air con, wifi). Location is ideal: close to ss274 you can move around the whole of Salento very easilly (rent a car). The sea is very close and the hotel benefits from a great view. Staff speaks... More

The other reviews of hotekls in this area seem mainly to have been contributed by non-English speakers, and we selected Hotel Monte Callini on the pin in map basis. The hotel is set on a hill overlooking San Gregorio one of the small seaside villages dotted along the Salento coastline. It is not far from the southernmost tip of the... More
