Stayed here for a night- 24th Jul 2011. The hotel location is on the banks of blue waters which was great to navigate. Very convenient for a stop-over after or before the caprivi strip drive.

An oasis on the road across the Caprivi strip. A nice clean Protea Hotel where you can expect a standard that should keep most people happy. Pity about the Ray Bans that disappeared off the table! Dining very average but adequate.

This is the second year I stay at this hotel while traveling around the Caprivi and it is my favourite. The views of the river at sunset are astonishing, the bungalows are ample and confortable and Kennedy is always smiling and ready to help you. I just want to tell everyone who thinking of going to Northern Namibia that Protea Hotel Zambesi River Lodge has the best camping site one can wish for.
