Lovely restored farm building. Simple, chic decor. Peaceful surroundings. Francesco and his wife are amazing hosts... kind, helpful and knowledgeable of the local town and general Puglia. His restaurant recommendations were perfect! Breakfast was delicious. Fantastic local produce and homemade goods. Without doubt, I would definitely recommend you stay.

The Masseria is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The hosts are very friendly! It is really nice to see the sunset in one of the laid back chairs in the huge garden or to take a walk on the land. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated and they have air conditioning. The WiFi works really well, even... More

We'd been mesmerised purely by the photos of Masseria Uccio online, but nothing could have prepared us for how beautiful this place really is. We spent one week here from 1/9/12 - 8/9/12, my boyfriend and I, and are so grateful to Francesco and Paola for their hospitality and the truly Salentine experience they graced us with. We came here... More

It was very difficult to find, thank God for the GPS! Our room was clean but had no special touch. Tshe hosts, Francesco and Paola are not often there, just for breakfast but have no time to actually share with you, nthing is personalized. In the rooms they have a guest book with indications of restaurants, beaches, visits, etc. Undoubtedly... More

We stayed here in early May and what a beautiful time to be at this Masseria. The vegetables were just growing in and there were wildflowers all throughout the fields around. There are bikes you can use-- but a long walk is perfect there, as well. Rooms are have a modern artistic touch that somehow works perfectly with this old... More

A wonderful B&B stay in this Masseria. The rooms are chock full of character and the public areas include sunny courtyards and a sheltered arcade. The lovely garden was just coming into its own during our stay, I would imagine that it will be stunning later in the year. The Salento region is very beautiful, although I should imagine that... If you are searching a nice and individual accommodation in the south of Apulia I can recommend the Masseri Uccio. Fantastic nature and region - you can take the bikes from the masseria, drive to the fantastic beaches and enjoy the pure and nature..... The breakfast is very tasty with some self-made cake from time to time. Only remark is... More

Differently from other great places we visited and stayed at in Salento, the Masseria Uccio has the somewhat unique atmosphere of a real masseria, namely a fortified farm. It was indeed used until a few decades ago and it has been renovated by Paola and Francesco with great taste so that it has the elegance of an authentic place. The... More

Situated on a hill overlooking the town and sprinkled with pomegranate, fig and olive trees is the masseria. Tranquil surroundings made elegant and welcoming. The owners are both friendly and helpful. Simple, pretty and rustic chic rooms and public areas. Tasty breakfast. Conveniently situated for visiting beaches, restaurants, clubs and other places of interest.

Last 5th August i travelled with my girlfriend to Salento-Italy (Brindisi airport). We rented a car and started our little trip south-bound (just 1 hour). We previously found Masseria Uccio on the internet and booked a whole week. We where quite impressed by the pictures on the website, but when we got there, our jaws literally touched the ground. A...
