We had two beautiful nights at Crabtree River Cottages and it was amazing. Such a beautiful spot and the property was lovely. A great place to base yourself to explore the Huon Valley and Hobart. Just fantastic, We will recommend this to all of our friends.

We had a lovely visit. The cottages have a private setting with a comfortable fitout. The spa was spacious and inviting, the wood fire was set up and ready to roar, there was a good selection of cd and dvds for our entertainment and the breakfast provisions were generous. We will be back.

We stayed in the Emily Cottage for three nights and it was absolutley beautiful the cottage was very clean the bed was perfect and the surroundings/scenery was fantastic.We didn't see any ducks or the goat or the dog and the platypus decided not to show itself.There are just a couple of things I was dissapointed with only (minor things probably).... A cold wet Huon day when we arrived however fire was set for us and it took all of 5 mins for the beautiful 'Emily" cottage to be bathed in warmth. We stayed one night here. The setting was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable. It was very warm, and we sat in the creek and cooled off, it was great! Better visited in cool weather, but a charming, cozy place for a couple.

OMG what a beautiful cottage we spent the night in the Emily cottage which looks down on to a small brook. The wild life was pleantful from the bird life to fury creature. My husband and enjoyed a night in "Eliza" for our 25th wedding anniversary. What a pleasure, and a shame we couldn't stay for longer! The cottage was just lovely and set in a really beautiful part of Tasmania. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
