We have states here two nights in a toe and we've enjoyed ourselves very much. Very nice ambiance, friendly people and surrounded by nature. We also enjoyed visiting the town Pontremoli and it's castle. It might seem expensive, but just chose the option to have their home made dinner and I'm sure you'kl find it worthwhile.

Costa D'Orsola is conveniently close to the Pontremoli exit of the autostrada which is great for travelling to and from. It is some years since we visited Costa d'Orsola but it stays in our memory for the fabulous views out, the meals in the terrace restaurant, especially the starters on the first night and the swifts/swallows darting into their nest, and the local character of the room and the original farm group. Great value.

My wife and I have stayed at this lodge three times over a period of 10 years from 1993-2003. The quality is consistent but the prices are going up - unfortunately.
