This is a real gem , tucked away by itself amid the fields and vines on a bend of the river Dordogne, within two or three minutes of Fronsac and its great wines. Masses of space and shady trees outside plus a pool by the river to cool off . Inside the stone walls keep the house cool in in... More

Nice and authentic stone house in the middle of the vineyards (and practically the middle of nowhere - in a good way!). We stayed in the tulip room, a modern, rather big room. Only disadvantage: open bathroom without a fan, room smelled a little dump. The owner Jean is lovely, funny, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was "typical French" with... More

It is a lovely bed and breakfast, with a great host, Jean Charles. He is an up front french guy, very funny and welcoming. We got the yellow room, which was small but cosy and warm. The breakfast, free, is taking in the same table with all other guest, what makes a funny good morning.

We spent four nights here from Sept 1 Sept to Sept 5 2014. We were totally satisfied. The Tulip room was very comfortable, on the ground floor, with direct access to both hall and garden, with a seat immediately outside the door. The breakfast was of great quality, with the addition of grapes freshly picked from the vines as one... More

We stayed at Petit Garros for one night. We were given the Tulip Room, which is beautiful!! Every detail has been carefully chosen. I loved the bathroom, which features the stones used to build the house on two walls and beautiful tiles pink , with a line of tiles with tulips, and then green; very tasteful!! The owner comes out... More

My husband, twins, parents in law and I stayed here for only one night but we fell in love with the place and people who run it. Excellent rooms, food and surroundings. More than friendly owner. My parents in law have already booked two more nights than they had planned. We will come back as soon as we can. Highly... More

Our stay with Le petit Garros, a newly restored French country house in between the wineyards, was absolutely delightful. The rooms and communal spaces are beautifully decorated and very clean. We spent only one night at Petit Garros but we received a great service. Monsieur Garros was a very friendly and approachable retired business man, who made sure that we... More

The guest house is tucked away among the vineyards right on the Dordogne about a kilometer from the main road. We found it clean, basic and the owner couldnt be more friendly. We did enjoy a glass of wine sittting on the banks fo the river. Breakfast was one communcal table and was good if simple. One word of warning,... More
