A very peaceful and calm retreat. Hospitable hosts and comfortable accommodations makes for a relaxing getaway in this small town. Generous breakfasts to start your day off right. Restaurant within walking distance if you don't feel like driving.

I never knew what "tastefully appointed" meant till my good friend and I visited Jan's Gallery B&B - it's an old 1890's farm house that has been restored and updated in keeping with the period. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful without being overbearing. They gave us several ideas about what we could do in the time we had and steered us in the right direction. Our room... Historic home in a country setting but still has some kinks to work out. Shared bath was not clean, no interior locks on room doors, owners have noisy dogs who seem to stay in kitchen area where food is prepared., nearby freight trains seem to run all night. Suggest fellow travellers keep looking for accomodation and not stay at this... More
