I was recommended Caigers as a destination for fishing. I have to say I was very impressed with the accommodations and service at this resort. My group and I stayed for 4 nights and the service was phenomenal. The rooms were warm and the food was fantastic. We have already decided to return in 2016 for our annual guys fishing... More

Caigers has always been our destination of choice for vacation. Excellent service, great food and a lax environement. These are best factors when on vacation, and why we always choose Caigers when in the 1000 islands.

I've been staying at Caigers for 20+ years and before that the infamous Blue Heron next door and Mark and his staff have treated my family and friends as his own, you can't find a more family like atmosphere and i wouldn't trade that comfort for any other place.

We've been hosting family at Caiger's every summer for many years now. My husband particularly enjoys the fishing there while I enjoy cycling along the 1000 Islands Parkway. The kids...well, they're on their own hanging around the pool or taking to the river on their seadoos. At night we all get together for dinner in the dining room before enjoying... More

Caiger's was originally a popular fishing resort. I did't know that when I booked my room.I was just looking for a place that had easy accessible launching & docking. Perfect spot. The boaters ( most are seasonal ) were informative & welcoming. I knew that not only the fish would be hooked !

This place is paradise! Woke up early each day to enjoy the view, calm water and to watch as the divers prepared to do their thing. The rooms were perfect and comfy. . The perfect getaway, away from the city. It was so nice and easy to find a place to sit on the docks to watch the fish swim... More

I have been going to this spot for years. It's a premium location closr to the hub of Rockport and we love that it's a short boat ride to many beautiful spots on the River. This spot is not a 5 star resort no, but it has a great pub, access to fish carter's, close to an abundance of attractions,... More

Picture a good looking movie star from the 1950's who now is old, dresses funny, is dirty and smells, makes funny sounds and has a few teeth missing - that is Caigers Resort. Lets be honest with this place - it is cheap ($55 per person for 2 to a room), but my room smelled like smoke, it had paint... More

We spent 3 nights at Caigers on a dive trip. The hotel was just OK. At $100 a night you get what you pay for. Food, breakfast was OK, had a pizza for dinner one night, it was cold and soggy. Rooms are old but maintained, if you are expecting 5 star go else where. I had a few dead... More

I just returned from a weekend of diving in the St. Lawrence River; stayed at Caigers, Room #17. I won't be staying at this "resort" in the future; nor will I recommend it to the diving community associated with my local dive shop. My concerns are as follows: 1. The tub, toilet and sink were clean--the problem is the black... More
