We booked this hotel because we heard Bergen is a nice little town, true. And this hotel has a perfect location in the centre, but that's about it. I have never been in a hotel in the Netherlands, which such a terrible room. It was small, smelly a television from 20 years ago and noisy. Not a 4 star hotel... More

We have stayed at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone. To start, the room was dirty and incredibly worn-down. The bathroom was terribly outdated and you had to be careful not to bump your head when entering the room or using the bathroom because this room was situated directly underneath a sloped roof. Leaking shower splash... More

On August 6 I have made reservation to this hotel via Booking.com, reservation No. 328578453 for 2 rooms for three nights arriving August 12 (a week away). I was searching a hotel in Bergen Norway. Apparently, there is a city by the same name in The Nederlands where the Fletcher hotel is. You can see where the problems is going... More

This is a very average hotel for a 4*. The standard rooms are very small, the bathroom is tiny, and the shower cubicle minute! The whole hotel could do with some modernization. The parking is a real problem. You have to pay €7.50 per day to park in the hotel grounds, but there is clearly too little parking for the... More

When we checked in the member of staff never offered to help with our luggage. He just walked outside to the edge of the pavement and gestured with his hand saying our room was the second door on the right over there. When we tried to access it with the key card it didn't work. So it meant returning to... More

I have just returned from Hotel Marijke. We had booked for two nights but decided to leave early. The beds were terrible to say the least. Other than the discomfort they were "smelly" which was appalling. The rooms must have been decorated in the seventies and never updated ever since. The bathroom was dodgy, the "living room"very dusty and dirty.... More

This hotel has a main building and some apartmentlike rooms opposite of the street. If you'd like to stay in a cosy hotel in a small town but rather close to the sea, I think this hotel will suit you. Unfortunately my room was a bit outdated, but it functioned well.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for two nights from Friday to Monday. The location in the city centre of Bergen was perfect, the service provided by the staff was great, but the quality of the room was very average. There was little room to manoeuvre and it was stifling hot. The beds were OK, but the heat... More

This hotel was not very good. The rooms are big but the furniture looks sparse.it seems as if random desk and coffee table are standing somewhere. No air condition in the room. The carpet is old and and dirty, the furniture is way over its use by date. Breakfast was very good. The reception staff was polite.
