Trying to find this hidden gem without the use of GPS would seem nigh onto impossible. We employed two - our Garmin Nuvi which we had brought along on our driving trip after I had pre-programmed it back home and the GPS installed in our Renault rental car. We still drove past the entrance twice on that dark, narrow country... More

We stayed on a Sunday night while travelling south in France by car making our choice to stay there based on convenience, price and the Trip Advosor rating. We arrived a bit early for check in and the Manager helped us to do so with our French and his English barely intersecting. He also furnished us with a local map... More

This property is a nicely restored Chateaux in the middle of the forest. It is well off the beaten path, quiet, and tranquil. It has no restaurant, therefore it must be considered as a high-end bed and breakfast, or a high end 2 star hotel. A car is essential, both to get to the property and to get out for... More

we spent three very pleasant nights at the Domaine de Moresville in one of the annex rooms. The rural setting was welcome and charming. In the long spring evenings the fields were alive with cottontail rabbits, hares, courting pheasants, and the occasional deer. The vast fields of rapeseed in intense yellow bloom were punctuated with dark copses. Gorgeous! The Domaine... More

Travelling down through France, we decided to treat ourselves and stay at a Chateaux. Domaine de Moresville had rooms at a very reasonable price. We had a friendly greeting, a tour of the public areas in the main house, and then relaxed with a glass of good wine. It was a little chilly and windy (October), but our bedrooms were... More

On a business trip, we were put here with a group of people. When you enter the premisses, your expectations of staying in an authentic room rise - the main building looks absolutely great. My disappointment was big when I found out my room was not in the main building but in one of the smaller building that I referred... More

Stayed one night on the way south. Country location therefore extremely quiet, but had no problems finding it. Arrived late but the staff were happy to open up the bar. Room small (in converted stable block) but I've had plenty smaller. Very clean and comfortable, I would guess it's not long refurbished. Good breakfast in the morning - 12 euros.

My husband and I were on an extended holiday were lucky enough to find the Chateau du Moresville on a website while traveling in the south. Because it was a mid-week stay in the beginning of high season we were able to book a room for three nights at a great rate. We made day trips to Chateau Chambord and... More

This is a lovely 16th century Chateau. It has been well done up and has very comfortable rooms. There are only about 9 rooms and they are great value. Try and stay in the Chateau itself rather than the recently renovated Carriage house on the left as you enter. The carriage house however is very nice just a bit more... More
