Recently stayed there for 5 days whilst on a company trip. These 5 days were the hottest days of the year, my room was poorly ventilated. I had to go and stand outside several times during an evening to just cool down! Didn't see hardly any staff and cleaning wasn't up to par. One day my bed was made. Bathroom... More

Stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling abroad from Birmingham airport. The whole place feels very old, tired and outdated, this is in desperate need of a refurb. The beds, linen and pillows all need replacing and contributed to what can only be described as the worst nights sleep ever! The rooms were fusty and smelt damp, the shower was... More

Hi everyone before I go on I would like to say I stayed here 3 days ago and no it wasnt a 5 * luxury hotel but it was nice clean basic and just what I needed for one nights stay rooms are clean and tidy not your typical Travelodge but better in many ways as it has character. Location... More

I stayed for one evening whilst attending an event nearby. Twin room and paid £36. Room small but clean enough altough a bit chilly. However staff very helpful when I asked about the heating & provided extra duvets. Good value for £ - it does the job.

Room dated but would have been acceptable at the price if it wasn't also dirty. It was generally grubby and there was lots of brick duck under the window where building work has been performed! Lots of road noise even with the windows closed so I didn't open them but that made the room hot and stuffy. Breakfast doesn't start... More

Well past it's sell by date. The place is old, tired and in need of demolition and rebuilding.

We were attending an event at the NEC 13th April so wanted an affordable base for one night close by. This hotel is only approx 10 - 15 mins away from the NEC so very handy. After driving for 4 hours & spending 30mins getting lost trying to find the lodge we eventually arrived at 2230. There were lots of... More

The Travelodge is spead around three sides of a Toby Carvery, on the corner of a main set of cross-roads on the A45 three miles west of Birmingham airport. This arrangement results in hotel guests having to cross the main entrance lobby of the pub in order to access some of the rooms. This is no problem, as your room... More
