Had to stop over a few times on the way to The Isles of Scilly due to weather and delayed flights, this pub/ B&B is excellent, the owners are very welcoming and they have a great pub and restaurant.Big portions of great food, and always a diverse menu. I would recommend this picturesque pub to stop over in if you... More

Staying in nearby mawgan porth and decided to book a table after popping in to look at the menu and the fact that the pub was dog friendly. When we arrived there were people in the table that we had booked but this was quickly sorted but slightly awkward. The pub is charming as was the landlord and it has... More

Visited looking forward to what the reviews said...sadly didn't get that experience! Found that there was No respect for new comers and didn't get what I ordered. Didn't feel could say and would have to wait whilst my husband ate his meal. Very clicky atmosphere

We stayed in St Mawgan whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Friendly staff with a special mention and thank you to Andrew (chef) who went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Quintessential English Inn, traditional ales, log fire and superb meals. Will definitely visit again!

It is always great to receive a positive review especially when the staff are left to look after everything as the bosses were away! We are so glad you had a good time and it is appreciated that you took the time to say so. Thank you so much! More

My title suggests there is a difference...great pub food but if sold as a restaurant then, I don't think so personally. I have found this situation in a few places now in the Newquay area. A lot of places offering food have upped their game considerably which is good as generally the offering is the best it has ever been,... More

We stayed in St Mawgan last week, so visited the Falcon Inn a couple of times for drinks and ate there one evening. The staff are very friendly and the locals who drink there are very welcoming. We could take our dog into the bar area, which was very pleasing. Our evening meal was exceptional - steak actually tasted of... More

We both enjoyed our return visit to this gem of a village pub - likening this to returning to our second home! We just love the hospitality of both David & Sarah, their team of welcoming bar and restaurant staff, friendly locals and hearty food! This is a lovely welcoming bed and breakfast pub serving a wide selection of good... More

We booked a one night stay at the Falcon Inn after viewing the website. How disappointed we were on opening the bedroom door. The room was very small, dark, dismal and very dirty ( we have the photos to prove it). However the staff were very friendly and the food was ok. Sorry but we won't be staying again.
