Stayed for one night, but the service, room and especially the food was excellent. Lovely old pub with lots of character. Well worth a visit, even for just the food. Definitely going back to stay longer. Between Newquay and Padstow. A really good place to base yourself.

For all round service, top quality food, an excellent ever changing choice of superbly kept local real ales and great atmosphere there really is nowhere to beat the Falcon. Friendly landlord and landlady are always on hand and most welcoming

Came for a mid day drink and found the place enchanting. The setting is beautiful, so we decided to book for dinner the following night. We booked for 6 people. On arrival we found the staff very friendly as were the locals. One of our party started a conversation with a guy about beer and he offered her his to... More

We visited the Falcon 3 times during our 1 week stay in Mawgan Porth, the 1st night they squeezed us in for food as they were fully booked, which we really appreciated. To make sure you get a table it would be better to book. The pub is really dog friendly. They made my partner and our 2 dogs very... More

We visited this delightful well run pub with friends and without exception we all enjoyed delicious starters and mains made from quality ingredients, well cooked and extremely tasty. We did not sample the sweets or cheese board as we ate all of our very generously proportioned courses and did not have the capacity! We would love to return when we... More

Visited the Falcon Inn for the third time. You need to know how to find this place. Very busy but we managed to grab a table for two. You orders at the bar. The food was lovely - smoked haddock on bubble and sweak recommend. Very friendly service . Good beer.

Had to stop over a few times on the way to The Isles of Scilly due to weather and delayed flights, this pub/ B&B is excellent, the owners are very welcoming and they have a great pub and restaurant.Big portions of great food, and always a diverse menu. I would recommend this picturesque pub to stop over in if you... More

Staying in nearby mawgan porth and decided to book a table after popping in to look at the menu and the fact that the pub was dog friendly. When we arrived there were people in the table that we had booked but this was quickly sorted but slightly awkward. The pub is charming as was the landlord and it has... More

Visited looking forward to what the reviews said...sadly didn't get that experience! Found that there was No respect for new comers and didn't get what I ordered. Didn't feel could say and would have to wait whilst my husband ate his meal. Very clicky atmosphere
