Arriving late to the recently refurbished and re-opened Inn i was welcomed by Becky at the bar who organised my room and let me know it was their popular Tapas night .All the plates were home cooked by Jim n Jerry and they managed to squeeze me in .It was a case of deciding what NOT to have as all... My fianceé and I stayed for 1 night as we were going to a wedding in town. When we couldn't find a taxi one of the staff members was kind enough to drive us to the venue. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was full English, satisfying and delicious. We would defiantly come back and recommend it... More

We were attending a classic car function nearby, and cold-called at the pub. Very friendly people, nice chats in the bar later in the evening. The room was pretty basic for the highish price, but being newly refurbished after the floods, it was clean and nicely presented. Good breakfast included. Its only a short walk into the town which is... More

Booked this off the web and was greeted like an old friend - the place has been newly refurbished after a flood and is very pleasant and airy. No food in the evenings (but coming soon) but Jim will recommend plenty of local eating houses. Very pleasant regulars, rooms nice and clean - breakfast truly massive and delicious, hope to... More

We booked in for 2 nights as we were going to a concert at Sherwood Pines. They have only been open a week due to being closed for 11 months after being flooded but you would not have known. The Landlady and Landlord were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The live in Manager went out of her way to make... More

As a Southwell resident I feel that it is only fair to point out that the Bramley was devastated by the Autumn floods and has been and still is totally gutted. I can only assume that the people who are commenting on not being able to contact the owners do not realise the extent to which the pub has been... More

My wife and I stayed one night here 21/07/13 after going to a wedding at nearby hotel. Cherrie and Jim the owners could not have been more helpful in accommodating our late arrival and Jim even ran me back to the hotel in the morning to collect my car after cooking a great breakfast. I am so sorry to hear... More

I booked a one night stay at the Bramley Apple for the 8th August through Booking.com on the 9th June at the agreed fee of £75. This amount was taken from my account on the 12th June by the Bramley Apple. I was contacted by Booking.com in late July informing me that my reservation was cancelled owing to the pub... More

We booked accommodation at The Bramley Apple Inn in April this year. The accommodation was for my friends wedding this weekend just gone. Another friend I know who was also staying here called the b&b to confirm the rooms days before our stay to find a voicemail message saying the pub was closed until further notice due to flooding in... Spotlessly clean, a great location, and good value. We had a warm welcome and good night's sleep at the Bramley Apple Inn, and the breakfast was terrific. We would stay there again, and Southwell is a charming place to visit.
