My friend and I spent one night at Colina da Faja during our holidays at Madeira.
The owner is very nice and it was a warm und uncomplicated welcome.

We stayed at the Colina da Faja for 4 nights. The room was very spacious, with a modern bathroom which was lovely. It had stunning views from the terrace. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and loved every minute.
It is located in a quiet Madeiran village with beautiful walks, coastal and mountain drives on the doorstep. There is a levada running through the hotel grounds. We are not big walkers, but we had a stroll along the levada about 0.5h each way - it was delightful....
