We spent a wonderful long weekend in Blumau earlier this summer and had a fantastic and magic time in this funky hotel & spa. My first recommendation before staying there is to check out the art of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, because if you like the art you will LOVE Blumau. Hundertwasser didn’t like straight lines and repetition and loved bright colours,... more

There are certainly many SPAs (one of the nicer ones in Bormio, Italy). But there is truly only one Hundertwasser SPA. Besides the obvious one of a kind Hundertwasser design, the SPA is very spacious. Very often we found a small corner / outside area just for the two of us. Despite the hotel being sold out, there is never... more

We are a family with two young children and even though this is quite a luxurious spa, we felt very welcome. We stayed at the Waldhofhäuser, and we, originally thought that because it is located underground it would be very dark... how wrong we were! The apartment was very luminous. We had a great Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The only downside... more

This resort is a masterpiece of Hundertwasser architecture !!! You can feel and see this in your room, all public areas of the hotel and of course in the main part of the spa area. If you like Hundertwasser you should definitely stay here. The room was very nice, well kept and very clean. We did also enjoy a beautiful... more

I can't believe the last review, where someone thought it is negative that grass grows on the roof. Friedenreich Hundertwassser, one of Austrias most famous architects designed this building and the grass is on purpose there. There are also trees going through the buildings! and it is just so amazing. Really like a fairytale. Unfortunately the staff is not too... more

We stayed in the rogner for a week in july. when i arrived i was disapointed because eventhough the hotel is an amazing piece of architecture, there was grass growing from some of the roofs and it gave a bad impression, as if the place was not cared for. I learned later that they left the grass grow wild because... more

We stayed at Rogner Bad Blumau for 4 days recently. There are undeniably some strong points for this resort which are the location, the huge area dedicated to pools, beauty and health treatments as well as the architecture of the buildings. Everything seemed well looked after and clean. In nice weather, there are plenty of sunbeds outside, situated around the... more

What I mean by surprising is that my party and myself were not prepared for the nudist sauna area. Maybe it is ignorance on our part but from reading the website before we travelled, I realised that there was a nudist sunbathing area which I presumed was outside but to our shock, we walked straight into the sauna area which... more

I honestly can't stop raving about this place. It looks awesome, the food and wine are amazing, the hot spings are blissful (there are two water sources from what i understand), the people were absolutely lovely (and exceptionally patient as I don't exactly speak German). I highly recommend any treatments - I had two different massages in the three days... more

This is absolutely unique. Built by the famous artist Hundertwasser. There are no straight lines, even the floor curves, everything is colorful and natural. Very friendly and all-encompassing service, spa, sports, beauty and health treatments. Setbacks: There is nothing really close (Vienna and Graz each at least one hour's drive) if you want to go sight-seeing, the hotel is labyrinthic,... more
