We had a really pleasant week's stay at this hotel. The staff were simply outstanding and from the moment of arrival when we received the warmest of welcomes, to the morning of departure, they ensured all our vacation needs were met. While the housekeeping and dining room staff were very good, the front desk staff were truly exceptional -- among... More

We went to Breezes 2 years ago and really liked it so we thought we would try it again. After a quick check in we had to take our own bags to the room. We had a ocean view room just down from where we stayed last time. Had a great view of the beach and ocean and a quick... More

We don't. but the location and the prospect of snorkelling for a few days out while touring the island appealed. In the event freak storms and the plague of stinging jellyfish they delivered rendered us reluctant landlubbers. And so we learned to value the regular provision of good meals and drinks, on demand and at no additional cost: it was... More

My wife and I decided to take our adult daughters to Cuba with us and we wanted to be able to go into Havana, yet still have the peace and serenity of a beach resort. Breezes Jibacoa fit the bill perfectly. We also enjoyed the area where the resort is located, a rural setting that felt more authentically Cuban then... More

My husband, my parents and I just returned from a week stay at Hotel Jibacoa. We had a great vacation. The reception was friendly with an easy check in and availability of helpful bell boys. The lobby is gorgeous and the bar has delicious drinks and cappuccinos. The room is the nicest we've ever had in Cuba. It was spacious,... More

We chose Jibacoa because the area looked close enough to Havana and not so over run with resorts like Veradero. We were so right! It is a smaller place but has tennis and volleyball, hokey but fun shows, good food, internet, good beds, nice people, clean. We enjoyed spanish lessons, history lessons, long walks on the beach and up the... More

Not much that hasn't been said. I suspect because people keep coming here there is no reason to change the food. Yes, its bland, but in fairness, I've been to 'all inclusive' resorts all over the world, and they are virtually always bland and bad to appeal to 'the masses'. Bring some spices, tobasco. Ironically, some posters here have said... More

We spent two weeks in a suite on the Oceanside, it was fantastic. The ceremony was set up by Sarah and was absolutely beyond our expectations. The staff are the biggest asset of this property. The food was average in our estimation. The water was rough the last week, we only had a chance to Scuba dive once.It was hard... More

The hotel is as great as usual but in the middle of changing management company's. Don't know why but food at buffet for dinner was a real disapointment compared to other years. Other meals were great but really bad, service was poor, food stations were unmanned half the time and you had to go look for someone. Still my heaven... More

First, my disclaimers and caveats: This was my first ever all-inclusive vacation. And second, the weather was terrible – which apparently is a freak occurrence. I write this knowing full well that this could have impacted my whole experience. But hey, you can't do much about the weather, now can you? So I'll do my best to retell the events... More
