Pedralva is sweet. The air smells of honeysuckle. A tiny village with narrow cobbled paths and traditional style peasant houses converted to simple holiday appartments. A great Pizza place and a very good proper restaurant both with lovely family atmospheres. If they get round to building their biological swimming pool you might call it perfect. Beautiful walks, phenomenal beaches not too... More

Lovely little village rebuilt from ruins! You sleep right next to fields full with sheep and horses. No internet connection, no cel phone reception, no tv... The perfect place to rest from the brutality of our over-connected world! Plus, it is only a few kilometers away from the most beautiful beaches you can imagine! So if you want to enjoy... More

Although we just spend 2 nights, we loved the place! So quiet and relaxing, with typical architecture and decor and so friendly hosts! Looking forward to come back soon!

Ihad been in pedralva 3 years ago, but when I got there this year it was a pleasure to see how things changed. Its a very nice place to go and spend some time with family. Kids have others to play with and accomodation was great. I stayed at "Cabanas Velhas" and loved the house. The only thing I missed... More

This place is amazing. We went to Aldeia da Pedralva (a group of 10) and we stayed in two houses, one of them with a wonderful courtyard. The houses were great, and the decor makes us feel like we're home. The people working there are the most friendly we've seen. We want to go back, and have another wonderful experience... More

Clean, friendly, helpful. Not all services available when we stayed, but it will be even better when they are. We can't wait to go back.

We saw a small paragraph in National Geo Traveler and knew we had to find this place. We had very nice communication prior to our arrival. We had been traveling through Spain and were looking forward to this stop in portugal. It could not have been better. We spectacular casita with kitchen and loft. It was so great exploring the... We stayed in Casa do Tonel for 7 nights last August, and had a brilliant time. The village is beautiful, the two eateries on site (the Portugese food restaurant and the Pizzeria) both serve fantastic food at good prices, and you are located a very short skip from some of the most stunning coastline in the world. However, the real... More

Beautifully restored village with bags of charm all the mod cons you need. Restaurants serve wonderful food but it was difficult to tear ourselves away from the BBQ. Great location too, only few mins away from lovely beaches with numerous aspects providing varied surf.

Great village setting just inland from Sagres, but easily accessible to all the beaches and towns in the region. We were six adult travellers from Australia and this place had a wonderful point of difference to the three star inner city hotels we encountered on most of our trip. The villas have comfortable beds and linen and well fitted out... More
