Just off the beaten path near French River, a quiet spot that you can enjoy with family and friends. The place is very clean, and the rooms are quite large. We had a 2 bedroom with kitchen and bath and combined eating, sitting area. There is a large common room on the second floor where you can meet new friends... More

Great Lodge, Clean, in a Quiet Spot. The lady who runs it even baked me blueberry muffins. Very clean, quite, and a good spot beside a golf course. Nice place to roam around and take pictures! Bring a kayak for the wharf down the road! Price point is excellent. At night you can see every star in the universe!

Dear Charles W, Thank you for your kind words. I have shared your comments with the team and especially the 'baker'. She is definitely a joy and provides true island hospitality. We hope that you will consider this your vacation spot going forward. Did you know you can rent out the entire lodge and make it a true get away... More

There were nine of us (eleven if you count the dogs) in total when we arrived for a three night stay at the Wild Goose Lodge. I was a little worried that we might be in each others way with so many of us. I shouldn't have worried, there was loads of space in our unit and we didn't feel... More

My family and I stayed here and found it exceptional. Very clean. The lodge was warm and inviting. A real rustic lodge feel with the all the amenities. Our apartment had two bed rooms, living room with satellite TV and a full kitchen . The second floor had access to a common area where one could socialize with other guests,... More

Good day Chris B from Ottawa and wife. I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the lodge. This year we added 2 new BBQs for our guests, and made some simple changes to make it that much more family and cuple friendly. You are so right, it is a great place for families. We hope... More

Stayed at the lodge for 3 nights....loved it....I consider it my home away from home....Great place to visit, clean and comfortable. I have a 2 year old son who really enjoyed the freedom to run and play, and we already have a return trip booked....can't wait to go back, it has become a tradition for us to visit the lodge... Had a fabulous mothers day weekend at the Wildgoose Lodge with my husband . There was so much to do while we were at the lodge. We had steamed muscles out on the deck, pick up some fresh lobsters from the fisherman at the wharf a couples minutes away to accompany our famers fresh cut of steak. In the evening... More

We stayed at Wild Goose Lodge with extended family, with kids ranging in age from 4 to 16. At first glance, the Lodge appears to be off the beaten path, but in fact, it is only a few minutes drive to the family activities in Cavendish and Kensington. Usually, by the end of a busy day, being able to relax... More

This is a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all. Individual units include 2 or 3 bedrooms each plus living area and kitchen. A large common room and huge deck and BBQs plus a yard for games and activities make this a great location for a family reunion or other group event.

We stayed at the lodge just last week for 3 nights. 2 single mom’s with 3 kids each.. between us we had 2 teenagers, and 4 8 year olds (one in a wheelchair). We had gotten a great deal on a room at the lodge and had decided to stay here instead of camping. We did very little research on... More
