Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and solicitous welcome. Our room was smaller than on our last visit, but it did not matter. Clean, crisp linen, well-maintained room, spacious and verging on luxurious bathroom with fluffy towels bound in silk ribbon! The breakfast was as significant a reason for returning. This is still up with the very best breakfasts I... More

Villa Katz is a charming, stylish, family run hotel approximately 10 - 12 minutes walking from the city centre. Our room (Romantic) was beautiful and clean, though a bit small. We had a balkony with two chairs and a table in the bathroom. The furniture was white and the decoration white and grey, some pillows were hearts-shaped - it was... More

We stayed over Easter and although the weather was Not good, WE had an enjoyable stay. It was the perfect Location for our 3 MTB tours. Using the Sauna privately afterwards was no Problem and there were always plenty of towels in a cozy Ambience. WE ate breakfast and dinner there every day and did not regret it. Both food... More

Hotel decor is fabulous, great location to walk into savern. Lovely terrace and gardens. Comfy bed. Staff were lovely and helpful. Wasn't full, yet was on the top floor with lots of steps to haul a case up. Description said room with mini bar, there was none. Breakfast very expensive for what there was. Raced to get there before check... More

This individualistic, rather quirky hotel, decorated in a belle epoque style, is well worth a visit. The bedroons are individualistic, but comfortable and the location is quiet. It is spotlessly clean. The breakfast is not immediately impressive, but we were served with scarmabled egg and bacon, cooked to perfection and then plates of hams and rolls appeared, making for a... We stayed in this hotel on our way to Italy. Indeed it is in a residential area, but a quite location. The hotel has only 7 rooms and is run by a friendly couple. We stayed in the Suite La Hollandia (how appropriate) which has lots of space, a comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Extra was the huge terrace we... More

Very beautiful Alsace Villa with cosy decoration. The owner very nice people and service fantastic. I will come again to experience other rooms. Price is very good for quality offered. The breakfast is excellent and have never seen so many cakes in breakfast tables.

Stayed there couple night during driving holiday though Alsace. Beautiful house in residential area. 15 min walk into town. We had a room on top floor under roof. Windows very small and hence room a bit dark. All a bit cluttered but still nice, spacious bathroom. Beautiful poolside. Free wifi, but got had to lock back in every few minutes.

This is a place you either love, and forgive the little down things, or love. We love it. Rooms lovely but can be a bit odd with all the collectibles. The paintings on the stairs made me laugh. Everything is good quality. The nice chocolate a nice touch. Enough pillows and nice beds. The location is too far to walk, but... More

Stayed with my fiance for a night as a stop-over on our way south to Italy. Saverne itself and Villa Katz are hidden gems. The hotel is maybe half a mile from the centre, very easy to find. Saverne is a sleepy, unaffected sort of place and quite charming without being overly picturesque. Very few tourists, no Starbucks or McDonalds... More
