We stayed at this hotel in July this year and it was beautiful!. It is an hours drive from lisbon and much easier to find than expected! The grounds are immaculate and brightly coloured with bourgonvillia stretching over the walls. We arrived on a friday and the hotel was near full, although there are only seven rooms! - i think it is very popular with the portugese as a weekend getaway, always a good sign!. The staff are very helpful and attentive.

The rooms all have an individual colour theme and are decorated beautifully with great attention to detail. We stayed in the blue room which overlooks the courtyard, It has a double bed and a sofa bed - the only complaint is the bed was unbelievably hard although some people prefer this!.
