A lot of good things can be said about Penha Longa but the hotel is not very friendly for business travellers or corporate clients. This is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous part of the world. The hotel sits in betweeen two charming small towns called Sintra and Cais Cais. Pehna Longa is everything you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton. Well appointed, modern spacious rooms in immaculate condition. Great food. I stayed for two nights at Penha Longa as part of a site inspection in April 2006. Penha Longa is conveniently located 25 minutes away from Lisbon airport. The grounds are great, with lush vegetation and not a car, road or high building in site, just trees and the golf course - very relaxing The hotel itself is very comfortable.... more

This is a beautiful hotel....on the positive side, the rooms were beautiful and if you get one with a view of the golf course it is spectacular.
