Beautiful location, overlooking sheep and cattle. Was easy to find off a main highway. The room was immaculate, and well decorated. Be aware, that if you have a lot of luggage, to request a room not on the top floor - which is up 2 flights of steps. Breakfast was tasteful and made to order. It is obvious the owners... More

Experience is more country estate not mere house: gave us a sense of grand life of a period drama. Wonderfully furnished, comfortable interior, with an honesty bar parlour. Beautiful gardens. Idyllic pastoral scene from our room window. Sumptuous breakfast. Excellent suggestions of visiting surrounds. You leave as a departing guest, welcome to return, which we shall.

Thanks to Killiane Castle for a relaxing stay. Only sorry it was 1 night not 2. Close enough to Wexford town to go out and enjoy all the town has to offer and then retreat to the countryside. Our room was immaculately done & spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, coffee served by the Owner who told us the history... More

Never having been to the Wexford area, we did not know what to expect. We arrived late afternoon, and Paul was ready to show us a room on the third floor, newly renovated. It was spacious, up a couple of flight of stairs, and the bed was very comfortable. We relaxed for a while, then had a glass a wine... More

We were delighted with the hospitality and accommodation. Paul is generous with his local knowledge and there is plenty to do in the area. Our room was lovely. Breakfast was great with a few variations on the usual 'nosh'. A highlight was the spring water which is 'soft' to shower/bath in - a treat for townies! Be sure to climb... More

Has a wonderful two nights stay here as a base for looking round wexford. lovely family run business, beautiful rooms with country views. lots of little extras, like home made biscuits to help yourself to in the lounge, an honesty bar, and free run to look around their grounds, even inside the castle, which they are renovating. the breakfast was... Excellent B&B accommodation in a beautiful setting. The room was freshly decorated, huge and beautifully furnished. The bed was very large and extremely comfortable. Every last detail had been considered and was done to the highest quality. There is a coffee room with TV for tea and coffee and home made biscuits and also a comfortable lounge with honesty bar.... We had a great time at Killiane Castle. Spotless clean, our farmhouse room had a great view of the countryside. Breakfast was hot and tasty, and we later walked through the castle tower and took pictures from the top. Room was average size but bathroom was larger than normal--- great shower. Highly recommend Killiane!

Killiane is not a restored castle, but what remains of a castle. The home has been adjoined to what remains of a watch tower and the fortress wall. The home is beautiful full of wonderful antiques and paintings. Our rooms were spacious and comfy, looking out on beautiful grounds. Chickens roaming, cows and sheep in view. We loved our stay,...
