Spent one night in Killiane Castle and had a really nice stay. The house itself is beautifully decorated and the grounds, along with the Farm Walk were terrific. Owners Kathleen and Jack are extremely hospitable and friendly people - Kathleen a very lovely lady. Breakfast in the morning was really good. Was ideal place to relax, just wish we could... More

We stayed here one night on our way south from Dublin on our way to the Cobh/Kinsale area. I wish we'd spent a second night here instead! What a lovely farm! With the much longer summer days in Ireland than at home we spent longer than expected hiking in the Wicklow mountain area and didn't get in here until well... More

A really lovely place to go to, great location, wonderful staff, clean, comfortable, and friendly. We stayed with our 2 year old daughter who loved seeing the animals, running about freely and securely in the garden/land. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights. Our room was in the modern annexe block and was rather like a good quality contemporary hotel room - large, big bathroom (with bath and shower) attractive, modern furniture etc. The two dogs were a delight (especially the lab, Susan) about the farm which is fascinating to explore. Paul was extremely helpful and made some really... More

For 15 years, Kathleen and John have been perfecting their hospitality craft, and it shows. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, Killiane nevertheless reflects the style the couple began back in the '60s and that has obviously worked so well for them since. By far, theirs was the most comfortable bed we enjoyed throughout our Irish trip and the most spectacular... More

We stayed a night and extended to three. The staff, especially Paul, who is a born host, were all great - giving advice, taking care of everything, and sharing the history of the castle, including stories about the 'ghosts', which we unfortunately didn't see although it is a bit colder on the second floor. Breakfast isn't just breakfast, it's a... More

What a delightful place, we don't particularly like bed and breakfast places, but this is an absolutely amazing house, the family are great, their history owning the house and castle is such an interesting story, visiting the castle is incredible... The breakfast was wonderful wish we had stayed for longer.

My family and I (two adults and teenager) stayed at the Killiane Castle June 24 & 25, 2015. Of all the hotels and B&B's we stayed at in Ireland, this was our favorite and the most comfortable. On top of that, the breakfast was superb! The castle and grounds are just a melting pot of history. The hosts are so... More

Easy to find with GPS, the castle is a bit south of Wexford. Lovely and quiet with beautiful grounds and garden for walking or lounging. The hosts are very welcoming and the breakfast is huge - you won't need lunch!

If I could give 6 stars to Killiane Castle, I would! Kathleen and her family have an amazing home unlike any we could have imagined. My husband, 7 yo daughter, and I stayed several days there and were overwhelmed with the magic of the place. Exploring the castle tower (not where any bedrooms are located) and the grounds (we played... More
