Well I don't know what the second to last reviewer is thinking but I do object to all he says about this perfect Hotel and the fact that he thinks he is superior to us lesser beings that see the real beauty of such a fine establishment. This Country House was definitely the best place we stayed while traveling round... More

We booked this property as it was the accommodation with best reviews close to the ferry at Rosslare. We arrived in the evening. Very warm greeting by the owner who showed I'd to our lovely room. Nice mix of old antique items with mod con facilities. Really comfortable bed. All you needed was there. Amazing breakfast...porridge with a nip of... More

I hate to write poor reviews. I don't like to discourage business anywhere but I look to Trip Advisor for honest reviews of places that I am trying to make decisions about. I feel like I should do the same for others. This place fell short in so many categories. To start with, Paul was great, very kind and helpful...the... More

Dear leberhart, Usually I thank guests for their review but on this occasion I am not going to thank you as I am not sure what to make of your comments. I don't really understand what you are complaining about, you say you don't watch TV but then complain about the size of ours, we do not put huge TV's... More

We stayed here in June 2015. A beautiful place to stay, peaceful house and welcoming hosts. Lovely rooms, garden areas to sit and wonderful fresh breakfast included. The large house is attached to the ruins of the old castle and visitors are able to explore the castle area at any time. Our room was on the top floor and with... More

Beautifully presented accommodation. Very friendly people. Lovely farmland surroundings. Breakfasts are second to none. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again. Because it's out town, it would be nice if they could offer evening meals, even if it was only a light snack. This is not a criticism, just an observation.

Stayed here on our last night in Ireland, quiet location and only 15 minutes from the ferry port. Large rooms very well decorated. Staff very helpful and early excellent breakfast provided for those booked on the morning ferry. Close to Wexford town.

A wonderfully relaxing, family friendly hotel with holiday apartments attached. We spent 4 nights in a one bed apartment with our 2 year old son and had a really enjoyable stay. The owners are warm and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and spacious. We have stayed in quite a few self catering places over the past few years and... More

Wonderfully welcoming, historic and scenic. Comfortable rooms and facilities, great breakfast, glorious setting. 17th century farmhouse built in the remnants of a Norman castle. Small hotel with ample parking. No evening restaurant, enough places to eat in the area, but none within easy walking distance. What you do get is a sky full of stars at night, and birdsong in... We only stayed for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer! The main house is decorated very well. The bedrooms (ours and the others we stayed with) were recently decorated (with a lovely, large comfortable bed....powerful shower etc) but done very tastefully to fit in with the surroundings. We both stayed on the third floor which was perfect...
