“dated but friendly clean well run hotel”

we stayed here with family who go each year and wanted to take our young daughter here to enjoy Jerseys lovely beaches and attractions. My guide book recommended this hotel as having historic features. I didn't find that part of the hotel. My room appears to date from the 1970's, spacious, moderately large balcony, slightly depressing decor - something of the ambience of Fawlty Towers, without the dreadful service.. Stayed for 7 nights in May. First visit. Found hotel to be well operated,Public areas spacious,large bar. Wi Fi in Lounge and Bar.Just moments from bus route.About £1-50 to St Helier one way.Plenty of safe car parking. 15 minute gentle promenade walk to Gorey harbour & the castle.
