Stayed for three nights at the end of the skiing season. Early fall meant I spent more time at the Rifugio than planned. Excellent food, far beyond what you would expect in a mountain hut, with a varied lunchtime menu and a inventive set meal in the evenings (non-residents can be snowmobiled up from the village). Rooms are comfortable. But... More

Wonderful location and wiew in the middle of Monte Rosa slopes, welcoming and friendly owners, good food and wines, basic clean rooms to be the first on the slopes in the morning: highly recommended for the skiing lovers.

We spent 4 days at Rifugio Belvedere, this was our second time here and we will definitely be back next year also. The location on the mountain is perfect and you just hop on your skis and go. our stay includes half board and the food is italian rustic fine cuisine and surprisingly good and varies every evening. Giacomo is... More

This is the third year that we rent an apartment in Champoluc for the skiing season (it's really close to Milan where we live) so of course sometimes it's convenient to eat at the Belvedere. The place has the perfect location, very nice interiors, and a superfriendly and professional restaurant staff that somehow always manages to find us a table.... More

We've been to Champoluc for the past few years and never fail to go to the Belvedere several times. If you're there for coffee the cakes are wonderful. If you're there for lunch make sure it's a snowy day so you can take time to enjoy the fantastic food and great wine selection. Last time I had a fish soup with... More

I managed to organize one night at Rifugio Belvedere into our Europe itinerary and wished I could have stayed longer. The setting of the Rifugio is at 3400 meters with spectacular views that include the Matterhorn and other peaks in the Alps. The rooms are rather deluxe for a rifugio with double beds, white linen, excellent hot showers, etc. It... More

My wife and I had planned a relaxing few days walking the pistes we ski in winter. It is remote which we wanted, but Giacomo will run you down and pick you up from the gondola as necessary. Indeed he picked us up twice from Champoluc itself. The weather could have been better but not our time at the Rifugio... More
