We stayed for two weeks in March at this lovely locations. We had a a garden view room and enjoyed our our stay immensely. It was the perfect location to explore the island. The beach out front was beautiful with calm, clear water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The nigh market right next door had some tasty dishes especially... More

If there is something negative about this place it is that they need some new paddle boards--the ones they had took on water. Fruit basket and flowers in the room are nice; the "breakfast" was rather rudimentary--some nice pastries would have been nice instead of the white bread. But, all else is great! First, location--this has got to be the... More

Muri Beachcomber was a beautiful place to be, close to activities and shows. Eating out was always a pleasure, always assured to have a lovely fresh meal at whatever budget or extravagance you choose. We were a few steps down to the lagoon which you could enjoy at any time of the day. Kayaks and bicycles were supplied by the... More

We stayed here for three nights for some R & R after a hectic few weeks in New Zealand. It was just perfect. It's in a lovely location, right on the idyllic lagoon beach (and this lagoon is deep enough to swim and snorkel in, unlike some on the island); the hotel provides snorkelling equipment, kayaks and paddle boards, so... We stayed in 4 locations in the Cook Islands and this hotel was the ONLY accommodation which actually included everything in the total price- airport transfers, breakfast, even late check out! All other hotels we stayed in had so many hidden extras we would walk out with empty pockets. The staff are very friendly, rooms incredibly clean and also cleaned... More

My husband and I found this lovely resort after having problems with a well known accommodation place that was a disaster from start to finish, this resort was lovely the bed most importantly was large and comfortable, my first good sleep after being in Rarotonga in a week and a half, clean towels and linen if you want daily, daily... This is our second visit to Muri Beachcomber and we were not disappointed. Wonderful location, stunning staff. Everything for a relaxing break. Paradise for a week!! Beautiful self-catering unit. Breakfast provided. Kayaks and paddle boards availble for the lagoon. Lovely to meet visitors back again from 2 years ago which really says it all. Not far from local supermarket, Post... More

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this place! The staff are wonderful, the little cottages are great, the air conditioners in the bedroom are wonderful (even when it is 40 degs. C). We did a lot of snorkeling just to the right and far side of the right Island and saw lots of fish and large blue star fish. NOTE... More

Just spent 10 days here. we stayed in No. 2 unit, right on the doorstep of THE best beach area in all of Rarotonga. We had a single (separate) bedroom, our own kitchen and bathroom. The staff are so friendly!! Air con was superior to the last place we stayed at. The lagoon is 20 seconds away and is one... More

The location is exceptional. The ocean front steps away. Every morning I sat on the Lanai with a cup of coffee and watched the sun rise. What a phenomenal way to start a perfect day in paradise. A lagoon that is safe, calm and fun to play in. Close to shops, restaurants, rentals and the bus stops right out front.... More
