Found the Dog Inn to be quite lovely -' olde worlde' and although it did look a bit tired in places (paint peeling and chairs in dining area a bit scruffy) this seemed to add to its charm. Sam greeted us and we found him to be a really 'cool' young man and extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was... More

My boyfriend and I had a lovely one night stay at The Dog Inn in Wingham, very good value for the NCrowd deal we bought which included a three course meal. We stayed in a large room at the front of the Inn with a four poster bed and sofas/day bed, which was not what we were expected and was... More

Normally stay at the sister hotel, The Blazing Donkey, but needed to be closer to Canterbury for this trip. The welcome was fantastic and when shown the room even better. We were given the old four poster bedroom which was big enough for a huge bed, a day bed and a 3 seat settee. Bags of history! Superb food and... More

Situated in a beautiful area of Kent, a lovely old building with plenty of character. Our room was a bit noisy as it faced the road and because of the heat we had to have our window open. A fan for the room would have been a good idea. The food served was tasty and fresh, altogether very enjoyable.

We had a pleasant 2 night stay at this Inn via a Wocher deal. We had room 7 wich consisted of a double room, single room and bathroom. The double room was a good size, bed was comfortable and had my favourite a Duvet. There were tea/ coffee making facilities, hairdryer and an iron. Our room was at the back... More

Had a lovely stay at the dog inn and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We decided to stay a second as we liked it so much. The dog inn is a listed building which means it may not be demolished, extended or altered without permission from local planning authorities. It it a lovely building with lots of character... More

Recently went to this lovely pub for our 1st anniversary lunch The menu was lovely and the pub/restaurant are fab .... The only thing I would suggest is that the chairs in the dinning areas including the conservatory should have removable covers on them as they are looking rather tired and worn and sort of made the place look unloved... The room was lovely and with a little attentionto detail could be wonderful. The plumbing needs a little work but was only a small thing.... More
