Me and muy husband stayed one night before climbing the Mount Fuji. The hostel is awesome, very clean and comfortable. They pick us up at the train station and also kept our luggage for one night while we were climbingthe Fujisan, for 100 yen each suitcase. The staff is very welcoming.

K's house is a large and professional hostel to stay in, it doesn't have the same charm as some of the smaller ones but it offers faultless service and amenities. Nice dorm rooms, a huge kitchen and living room with a tatami room table and a large tv. Plenty of space to relax and stretch your legs after hiking up... More

We had two children with us and so booked the family tatami mat room. The kids loved staying here, and we were really happy and comfortable. Fantastic common areas, and extremely helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. K's House in other locations also look great and we would try them on our next trip. Recommend arranging transport/calling for... More

They pride themselves on the experience here. The bicycle hire at 150 yen per hour is great. Lovely easy cycling around Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Saiko if you feel energetic. (I took about 4 hours to cycle around both at a casual pace) Hostel is about 15 mins walk from the station. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. (The quest to... More

The free pick up from the train station was just the start. We were in a dormitory, which although was shared with a women who snored louder than a hippo, was clean and spacious with tatami mats. The whole hostel has great decor - modern but with traditional japanese design here and there. There is a large common area with... More

A very spacious and nice hostel. Tatami floors everywhere, there's heating in the rooms (it was definitely necessary when I was there), clean rooms and common rooms, really cozy and comfy. perfect hostel!

Great value for money! I stayed in the female dormitory; it was very clean and comfortable. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. They also provide free pick-up and send-off to and from the kawaguchiko station which was convenient for travelers. The hostel is also near an onsen. A great location near Mt. Fuji.

The staff were really helpful by providing local knowledge as well as discount coupons for various attractions! My friend and I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it was very, very clean and everyone was very courteous toward each other. The kitchen was really big! It was very easy to share the space and cook dinner. The living area... More

Everything was great from start to end! Had a free pick up from the Kawaguchi-go Station and arrived in the hostel in 5 minutes. Was given a brief orientation of the hostel as well as its surrounds by the reception and left by bags in the luggage store before heading out. When I checked into the 4-bed female dorm, it... More

I've been stayed there in 9 beds dorm room with a friend of mine. A bed was so comfy and big, good room space for 9 people. There is small locker you can put your important stuffs but you need to provide your own keypad. (Just small keypad is fine, I brought big one and it cant be used.) A... More
